I was really concerned about custody of my kids with my ex. The staff and attorney communicated with me the whole time and made the process easier than I expected. They did exactly what they said they would from the beginning.

I believe this attorney is brilliant from my initial discussion and from hearing his plan for my case. The downside is the execution and communication. You will not hear a blip about your case; follow ups with the office are as useless as serenading a tree for affection. They will not file any motions, no updates. Utter silence. To date I’m still in awe how someone can consciously lie over and over that a motion has been filed or item x has been done. I read the negative reviews before engaging the firm but I parsed on them, rationalising :”of course not everyone is happy” in such an industry. I loved how he engaged the reviewers and thought this vet is an astute attorney and was going to bring that fiery fury in court. I was wrong. It was my fault to be fooled. I’m glad I moved on and my case turned up excellent with a different attorney. I reckon you’ll be more likely to get a response from them when you post here, be struck by lightning 4x in a minute than ever getting a linear and coherent plan about your case. Update: I stand by my statement above. If you decide this firm is your attorney, by all means I wish and pray that each one of these 1stars is wrong. I wish you all the best and hope not only will the attorneys will be prudent, straightforward and prompt in communication but also have integrity and ACTUALLY do what they promise rather than haggle with clients over reviews. I had a great experience working with this office. The attorney and the entire staff provided excellent communication from start to finish. They were always professional, responsive, and made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process. They explained everything I didn’t understand. Every time I reached out via text or email they answered!!! Any questions or concerns I had were answered quickly, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. It really made a difference knowing I could rely on them for clear info and support. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication from both the attorney and his team. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a professional team that values great communication and client care.

The worst for communication. Was supposed to get finalized custody papers 3 weeks after the hearing and it's been like 3 months. They are hard to make appointments with, hard to get any info from and the front desk people are so unresponsive to messages. So frustrated, do NOT spend 5k for a custody case, it's not worth it at all. Update: After leaving the bad review they contacted me a few hours after. I finally got the papers, however 2 things weren't what I agreed to in court, and my lawyer reviewed it and signed. I will keep everyone posted, however, this seems rushed and sloppy. He wasn't interested in giving the best representation he was just trying to wrap it all up for easy cash at the expense of the client. Will update tomorrow after meeting.

I am deeply disappointed with the legal representation August Alexander received. While I understand that circumstances can change, the last-minute substitution of her original lawyer with someone unfamiliar with her case had a significant negative impact. The replacement lawyer's lack of preparedness was evident and, unfortunately, resulted in an unfavorable outcome regarding her child visitation rights. I believe that had her original lawyer been present and knowledgeable about the details of her case, the outcome would have been different. I hope this feedback is used to improve internal communication and ensure that all lawyers are fully prepared to represent their clients effectively.

Do not use this law firm, they do not communicate at all. Hired this lawyer back in May, he didn't do anything including communicate with us. The only time we had any communication at all was the initial in take and then crickets. I have asked for an itemized bill to see where my $8,000 went since they definitely never spoke to us, or did anything regarding our case. Heck we had to inform THEM that the case had been dropped, but they sure did keep the money they got from us for doing absolutely NOTHING. Most disappointing experience. 10/10 do not recommend unless you have the money to waste on uselessness.
