I do not recommend this lawyer, she is not professional. According to what she was going to help my sister with her immigration case, I told her that I was going to charge her 8,500 for her case, and any questions my sister had, she would charge her 300 dollars just to give her an answer, when my sister finished paying her the 8,500, the lawyer Johanna Torres told her that this amount was only the beginning, that she had to pay her 30,000 dollars, everyone who has similar cases should report this abuse to (the California Bar Association), so that over time they will take away her license for being a bad lawyer.

The lawyer Johana Torres only charged my mother for a supposed case she was handling, and in a year she did nothing, not even send the fingerprints. According to her, immigration denied her access to certain documents and told my mother to sue the government. She's supposed to be the lawyer, and she told my mother she would recommend another lawyer for the process, but that she couldn't do anything more. Now we're with another lawyer who has explained everything to us and told us that this woman did nothing with my mother's case; she was just taking advantage of her and collecting her fees for a year. I ask you, lawyer Johana Torres, if you couldn't do anything with my mother's case, why don't you return the money that my mother, Margarita, earned with so much effort?
