Worst attorney I’ve ever came across! If I could gave him a invisible star I wouldn’t …He’s very helpful in the beginning, closer to the end he dropped the ball with my case! Definitely don’t recommend don’t waste your time!
He took my case and explained well how it was going to go. It went exactly like he said it would, but he decided because of the govt shutdown he was not going to finish my case because he didn't want to make any last minute decisions. This leaves me in my third trimester of pregnancy near the holidays to find a new attorney which will not be happening. I could have just taken the settlement. Total waste of time and money that I should have just taken from the beginning. Learn from my mistake. Find a different lawyer
Adam Porter is an effective listener. He is looking for specific information but please take heart that there are lawyers who listen to understand out there. He is one of them and I’m heartened for the first time in a while about this. He is in the process of taking my case and I’m so relieved.

I worked with him in the past on a case that did not gain much traction. However, he was very open and clear throughout the entire process. If I needed to work with another attorney on any employment law case in the future (Which I hope is never the case!) I would definitely recommend him. I appreciate his honesty and transparency when it comes to letting a client/potential client know where their case stands. It will save you a lot of additional time, money, and turmoil.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ADAM PORTER — UNLESS YOUR CASE IS EEOC-RELATED. I was extremely detailed when I submitted my case through Adam Porter's website. I didn’t leave anything out — I clearly explained that my case had nothing to do with the EEOC, and I backed it up with a full breakdown, timeline, and actual evidence showing wrongful termination and defamation. What do I get in return? An email at 9AM that says: "LaAngel, can you tell me why you think your termination was wrongful? Thanks, Adam." — No “Good morning,” no professionalism, and worst of all, the use of the word “think,” as if I hadn’t just submitted hard proof. I respectfully replied and resent my entire case file, fully documented. His final response? “I’ve reviewed it and am sorry but I don’t see any legal claims I can help you with. Good luck with it.” That’s it. No explanation. No care. No real review. Let’s be real here — Adam clearly only wants easy EEOC cases where all the work is done for him. If your wrongful termination doesn’t fit the EEOC checkbox (race, gender, disability, etc.), he will brush you off rudely and act like your case has no merit. That’s not just lazy — it’s misleading and borderline unprofessional. He didn’t miss legal claims — he just didn’t feel like doing the work because it required actual effort and litigation. If he had simply said, “I don’t handle these types of cases,” I would have respected that. But instead, he gave the false impression that I had no case, when the truth is he just didn’t want to fight. Another reviewer had the exact same experience — Adam dismissed her case, but she went on to win it with a different attorney who actually knew what they were doing. Same thing here. So if you’re not handing Adam a case tied neatly with “EEOC” on the front of it, don’t expect him to lift a finger. He’ll act like your case is a waste of time just because it isn’t easy to plug into a form letter. And trust me — he’s not the only one who thinks like this. Most of them do. It’s a universal mindset in the legal field: if your case doesn’t hand them an easy payout or fall under the EEOC, they’ll dismiss you without a second thought. Lazy. Rude. Disappointing. But not at all surprising.

Just called to reach out about a consultation and even though Mr.Porter could not help me with my specific case he did something that no other law firm has done for me yet. He personally picked up the phone; not a secretary. He listened, inquired for more information, and gave me a recommendation of whom to call. Very thorough, professional, and highly recommend.

He was wonderful at first, extremely responsive and on top of everything. Then after a little over a year he told me I didn’t have a case. He did get me my right to sue papers, but told me he didn’t see a case. Well I actually did have a case in my attorney who handled it did amazing job and got more than what I was expecting. I was informed Adam isn’t big on litigations, which isn’t the issue. I just would have felt better had he said that instead of saying I don’t have a case, when he just didn’t want to do the work. It made me feel he was bribed or something to that nature, how after a year he switched. I’m glad I didn’t allow his “no case”, stop me from getting the justice I deserved.

My response would be similar to the other positive responses I've read in Adam's review section. He was thoughtful, honest and upfront with the reality of my case and I never doubted a word he told me. In the past I've had very different experiences dealing with attorneys, Adam has helped adjust my sights relative to the legal profession. Thanks Adam
