They helped us to get my mom's affairs in order. Thank you all for help.
Attorney Smith and Paralegal Assistant, Jessica make a very powerful A-Team! They are both extremely efficient, transparent and professional. They helped me file a claim with the VA which was approved the first time around. I could not be more pleased with their handling of my claim!

Ira Wiesner is a terrific lawyer. My life partner and I retained him to redo our estate plans. Of the several trusts/estates lawyers we have consulted over the years, Ira is -- far and away -- the best. He is highly experienced, wise, and very thoughtful. He made great suggestions for addressing the special issues arising in our family situation. The documents he created to implement our estate plan are simple and clearly written. The fees were fair and the fee agreement was easy to understand. ... As a practicing financial services lawyer myself with 40+ years of experience dealing with attorneys, I can say in all sincerity that Ira Wiesner is a 5 star estate planner and a pleasure to work with as a client. We are completely satisfied with the work and its value. I recommend Mr. Wiesner without qualification.

Just awful!! Do yourself a favor and avoid! Inept, false, and inconsistent, poor communication, very shady lazy lawyers IMHO. Failed me on every occasion. I'm so disappointed with Daniel Smith..

I did not want to write this review as I was hoping to give them a chance to turn around an overall very negative experience for over 3 years. I wish I had never even called them because they have caused me to lose everything due to being ill-advised on the guardianship case over my husband. I would not recommend them at all. Daniel Smith was my attorney unyil he recently sent a request to withdrawal from my case that had no action for over a year and failed to inform me of an upcoming hearing. I foolishly signed the request to withdrawal representation as I thought the guardianship proceedings were over and moving into the divorce realm. However upon realizing this shady move and attempting to call the office to speak to him and getting the automatic response "he's in a meeting" followed by he's out on vacation, from the very rude receptionist. Unless you would rather risk wasting thousands and jeopardize your future I would avoid. Sadly I see someone has had a similar experience and wish I had known before going with them. Also think they are very lazy lawyers who will say whatever to get your retainer and do nothing in terms of actually helping. Also no response to emails .

Probably one of the most disappointing interactions I’ve had with a legal firm. They were recommended through friends at WSGR. My mother-in-law fell and broke her hip which unfortunately left her in need of long term assistance. Once we came to learn about Medicaid and some of the potential benefits and challenges in applying, we reached out to Ira who on the surface made us feel like we would be taken care of. We were eager to engage. On multiple occasions we asked for an engagement letter and a desire to compensate them. We kept being told, “wait until next week”, “let’s see how the care plan meeting goes”, “etc”. After three weeks of being told this, my mother-in-law was now being told she would have to be discharged - with nowhere to go. Confused and frustrated we called and spoke to Ira and he gave us a number to Neema Patel at an agency to tour assisted living facilities. Knowing that my mother-in-law’s financial condition was very poor, this went nowhere. Frantically, we called on a Thursday and begged to engage this law firm to start the Medicaid application. We were told to call back next week. Finding it unacceptable, we asked to talk to the office manager. Surprisingly, one of the firm’s attorneys picked up, and calmed our concerns and share that our engagement letter along with a flat fee of 4k would be processed in the morning. We were relieved until an email arrived this morning informing us that they had no interest in representing my mother-in-law. We are completely mortified that they may do this to another family. Three weeks were completely wasted and now our mother-in-law’s wellbeing is in jeopardy. Our suspicion is that Jessica (receptionist) was upset over us asking for this to be escalated. Upon calling this morning, she was extremely callous towards me asking for an explanation for their decision and proceeded to hang up on me. I would be extremely cautious of engaging this firm.
