As a small business owner I was in disbelief that any business can have 5.0 stars on Google. I have tried to get fake low star reviews about my business removed by Google. Its impossible. So, believe it. Angus Lee Law Firm has 5.0 stars on Google. My case was exceptionally difficult, with potential for very bad social, business, and legal consequences. Angus counseled patience as he worked hard to get ALL witness interviews and depositions completed. Then he found qualified outside experts to independently review all the available evidence. Finally, under heavy questioning by Angus in a video deposition, the alleged victim conceded many facts for the record, some of which he admitted were obscured or false in earlier statements, including some given to the police. As a result, my actions finally became clear as legal self defense. After complete dismissal of the criminal prosecution, Angus secured dismissal of a civil lawsuit the alleged victim had filed seeking monetary damages. Included in the court record with the civil case dismissal was a signed and notarized apology letter from the alleged victim stating, in part, "Please accept this letter as a formal apology for my actions and for the trouble they have caused. I hope that we can move forward from this incident and that I can demonstrate through my future actions that I have learned from this experience." Apology accepted. Thank you Angus Lee for saving my freedom, my family business, and my reputation. Thank you for reminding us we are all human, and we all make mistakes. On a lazy Sunday morning after a late night BBQing with friends, I found my home being surrounded by SWAT and being called out at gun point by a bullhorn and then arrested. I have never been in trouble with the law and all of sudden my quiet suburban home was being targeted. The next day, in jail, I was charged with an additional class A felony and then several protection orders from my mentally ill, drugged out, ex-girlfriend of 3 years. Over the course of the following year, he was able to expertly expose that my accuser had a daily secret cocaine habit, had not been taking her meds for months, was suicidal, mentally unstable, and had a repeated pattern of abusing the legal system, against men, to avoid having to work. The end result was that all the charges were dropped, all protection orders were withdrawn, and my family now has a protection order against the "alleged victim". Angus Lee has restored my hope in the judicial system. My brother was falsely charged with 4 counts of vehicular homicide by the state of Washington in 2019. Despite there being essentially no evidence linking my brother to the scene of the accident that left 2 people deceased, the state continued to pursue the charges. Four and a half years ago, the state of Washington attempted to charge my little brother with four counts of vehicular homicide, two of which were for driving under the influence and two for reckless driving. Upon arriving to the collision scene which involved my brothers roommate at the time, and a woman in a BMW, the Vancouver PD made false accusations that my brother and his roommate were racing on their motorcycles, which inevitably took his roommates life, as well as the women in the BMW. After my brother informed me he had a good feeling about Mr. Lee, he hired him and Angus promptly started a thorough investigation to free my brother on all four charges. The state offered my brother a plea bail where they would drop two of the charges, still serving him 8 years in prison. My brother turned down the plea bail, which meant he would be going to trial. The trial got pushed off for years due to “finding more evidence” on behalf of the state and Covid. After gathering substantial evidence, including police reports where one officer wrote a false statement saying my brother struck both vehicles, and later amended his claim, gathering professional witnesses to measure his speed with accuracy etc, amongst multiple other pieces of vital evidence, Mr. Lee was able to drop two of the charges by the judge. Finally, the jury was convinced that my brother was in fact, not guilty on ALL counts of vehicular homicide. There couldn’t have been a better way to end this year. No amount of money could repay Mr. Lee for the peace he gave not only my brother, but also, our family. We gained a lifelong friend from this and true justice for my brother, so he can finally live his life as a free man.

I wish I could give Angus 100 stars. I was being wrongfully accused of felony crimes that were outrageous and untrue. When I initially met with Angus he was the only lawyer who really took my case seriously. All the other lawyers I presented it to just shrugged it off and thought it would be an easy win, and would probably never even make it to a trial. But Angus knew what the state is capable of, and where their motives lie. Angus navigated my highly complicated case with extreme precision. My case was one of pure injustice and Angus really took it to heart and I believed it really fueled his fire. His attention to detail is unmatched. He secured an abundance of motions that really forced the state into a corner they couldn't get out of. The amount of work he puts in just goes to show how much he cares about his clients and their liberties as a citizen. During the trial he really commanded a presence that everyone could feel. His clarity and sound arguments won the show. I don't think any other lawyer would have successfully navigated my case, because of the foundation of lies the state was using against me. I sincerely believe I would be in prison right now if it weren't for him. I am eternally grateful for this man. He is a true American and a voice for the people against tyranny. I was being investigated for very serious felonies (ultimately charged with four felony crimes) and my employer of 16 years had just placed me on leave. I was panicked and didn't know what to do. In the end, what was uncovered was what I had been saying all along, I had done nothing wrong. At my age, a conviction on any of the charges would have been the equivalent to a life sentence. God sent me Angus and I can’t say enough about his integrity, work-ethic, skill, and compassion. He cared for me and hurt when I hurt but he always stayed focused with the end in mind.
