ZERO STARS!! This is my experience with Arguelles Legal in Coral Gables which I found unprofessional, dishonest, and deeply negligent in representing my interests. They presented themselves as fully available and highly competent when they were negotiating my signature on a representation contract, yet their promises proved hollow. I felt pressured into signing a contract for representation with the appearance of urgency and certainty. There was no clear disclosure of the risks, no written explanation of their fees in plain terms, and no honest discussion about expected outcomes or timelines. Without my explicit consent or even a discussion of the consequences, they opened claims with my insurance. This was done in my name, without my informed authorization or understanding of what it would entail. When I later pressed for explanations, they could not justify these actions beyond vague assurances, which I consider an egregious breach of trust and professional duty. After I signed, their communication dropped to near-nothing. Attempts to reach them were met with silence, delays, and a sense that my case was no longer a priority. There was no proactive follow-up, no updates, and no accountability for the promises they had made at the outset. When I finally managed to reach them via email through the receptionist, I was confronted with a later claim that two lawsuit claims had been opened against my insurance and the at-fault driver’s insurer, and that they had dropped my representation because they “couldn’t reach me.” This explanation is nothing short of a contradiction and, frankly, a fabrication: I received no calls, no emails, and no voicemails from them. There was no attempt to verify contact details, no documented attempts to reach me, and no legitimate basis to disengage from representing me. I now have two open cases and must find a new attorney, wasting time, money, and emotional energy on remedying the fallout from their incompetence and misrepresentation. Their conduct has created a complicated legal situation that I did not consent to and that far exceeds ordinary service failures; it feels like both neglect and deception. Bottom line If you value transparency, proactive communication, and ethical handling of your insurance and legal matters, you should avoid Arguelles Law Firm. What I experienced was deceptive onboarding, unilateral actions without consent, and a total lack of professional accountability that left me vulnerable and underserved.
