There's a lot of misinformation about family law. I don't know where you get your information. When you pay for a consultation, it's to get solutions, not problems. Another lawyer gave us a real solution at a lower price. If you want to review custody and parental rights, I don't recommend going to Mr. Lopez.

Great legal loriet in the community

I felt that Mr. Lopez was not educated enough on Veteran's benefits or issues. Mr. Lopez also showed a serious misunderstanding of what PTSD is and, most importantly, what it is not. He appeared predisposed to his decisions and it appeared that my visit was just a "check off" on his list of things to do before he presented his misinformed decision to the court. Mr. Lopez did not ever return a phone call or keep me informed through his assistant about anything. I met him once, my wife met him once, and my son spoke to him for 15 minutes and, apparently, that was enough for him to make a life-changing decision for my entire family and my young son. I can only imagine where my son would be today if I would not have been able to handle my issue on my own. This is just my opinion. But I would advise veterans to be careful when speaking about Veteran's issues to Mr. Lopez. He simply does not understand what veterans are about and has limited knowledge of PTSD, other than the stereotypes, that are portrayed in movies and television. To be honest, I was glad to know that he was assigned our case. I was told about his reputation as soon as I found out he was assigned to our case. It takes a long time of good work to develop the reputation that Mr. Lopez has earned but that reputation must have been earned a long time ago. The person I met and worked with for about 60 minutes did not live up to his reputation.
