We had a real sticky situation with where I accident happened but they did at real good job at getting it handled I appreciate everything they did
They did good. Bad part was dealing with this, insurance, and bills, through the Holidays. Very slow moving. All came together quickly at the end. Thanks yall....
A Compassionate Attorney My legal issue began after my husband’s death last December. In January, I pulled my husband’s will and my own from our files, only to find his had not been signed or notarized by the attorney who assisted us with creating the wills. My will had the necessary signatures and notarization. What led me to seek legal assistance was a financial company’s unwillingness to transfer my husband’s assets to me. I completed every form that was asked of me. I answered their questions. The company asked me to provide a death certificate and a will if I had one. I forwarded an official death certificate. I did not send the will because without the signatures, it is invalid. I tried to locate the attorney but he passed away a year before my husband did. The law office he was part of, is now an optometrist's office. That is when I decided I needed to seek legal advice. One of my son’s friends is an attorney. He recommended an attorney friend of his who could possibly help me. His name is Drew Ashby. During the times I called him, he was always friendly, polite, professional, enthusiastic, encouraging and sympathetic to my situation. He always stated that he was happy to help me and he would do whatever he could for me. He also made the decision to do some pro bono work. I never asked him to do this. He and I had never met one another. After I explained my situation to him over the telephone, he went to work. He always kept me updated. He examined the company’s questions and responses through the many emails they sent. Drew also tried to contact the financial company, but they only made contact with clients via email. Each time there was a different representative. Drew sent the company a letter, with my permission and signature, stating that he was an attorney representing and that I could communicate with him. He went as far as he could go with my case. I needed to file a petition for letters of administration since my husband did not have a valid will. He researched probate attorneys and found two that came highly recommended. I am presently working with one of these probate attorneys. I cannot thank Drew enough for his kindness and willingness to help me. I appreciate every effort he made on my behalf. This is a young family man who is working hard each day, and to take on extra work for someone he’s never met, shows a lot about the caliber of person he is. He even let me know when he was unavailable and would always contact me without a lot of time having gone by. He would always ask me how I was feeling and we’d even chat. He is an intelligent man who is altruistic, shows compassion, decency, and is of good character. Sincerely, Roz Lancette

Drew Ashby is a fantastic lawyer. He makes you feel like family and truly cares about his clients. He took time out of his life to come to where we were for portions of our case instead of us traveling to him. He was always quick and responsive at answering our questions or concerns we might have had. We can't thank him enough for the help he has provided to my family and I.

I have had the privilege to work with both Max and Drew on opposite sides of a handful of appeals. They are top notch trial and appellate lawyers, but even better human beings. I would not hesitate to recommend them and have numerous times when I’ve been contacted about a plaintiff appeal.
