My experience with this law firm in the 3M case has been gut-wrenching. I just got a settled closed letter in caselocker with Douglass A. Kreis at my case locker stating that all funds have been disbursed to me. I have yet to receive a single dime. I brought up this issue weeks ago, but these people cannot be communicated with. They are all crooks and liars. All they want is the maximum amount of money they can get out of you. STAY FAR AWAY! I will be filing complaints with the state and with anyone else I have to to get these people looked into. I can't believe this is how they treat Vets. All we are to them is a huge money grab. No wonder their Google reviews are abysmal. Reply to your response below: yeah, that would be great if you guys ever responded to emails. I’m seeking other opinions.

I am a real person, who should have lost my life instantly on 2/15/2019 while at the movies with my sweet husband.Multiple blood clots hit BOTH of my lungs. Instead I lived & this is why I need to write this review. This law firm became my voice, when I had no clue about the legal language and all involved regarding my future. I did not know if I would live long enough to see anything happen. Mr. Bess was amazing and kind to me. But I must brag on Angel Lemaster that changed my tears to laughter on some of the most crucial days of my life. Its been a long process. Some days it felt like everything was canceled. The long days, months & years that I have suffered. Medical costs, financial stressors and strains were not making this horrible situation better. But I want to say this law firm was honest, never telling me what I wanted to hear. Angel never tried to get me off the phone on days all I could muster were tears. Instead she would say, "I wish I had better answers but these are the facts. Always sympathetic, encouraging and giving me the details of what she knew that kept me abreast of the why. What I love about this firm, Mr Bess, and Angel they have worked hard for me, They dont get paid until their clients get paid. I said all this to say, Thank you Angel and Mr. Bess for not getting my hopes up but always keeping it real and honest.

Not the right place

I have participated in several class-action lawsuits against T-Mobile with the law firm Aylstock Witkin Kreis Overholtz. Although I initially thought it was a scam, I did receive payment.

Do not use. These attorneys will not respond to you they will not help you they have completely screwed me out of my AT&t claim. They told me that I was going to go arbitration even though I had a notification from AT&t that my Data had been breached. So I was trying to go through arbitration because they told me to, and then all of a sudden the payout and stuff is over with and they're like oh hey don't forget to fill out your claim form. These people are worthless and they will not respond to you. One star is too many but it made me give one. I would also like to add that I have been trying to contact an attorney from them for 4 months at least now I have left email after email I have called. It's impossible nobody ever responds. And now I could possibly get screwed out of my AT&t settlement because of these people telling me the wrong information. They told me I didn't have to fill anything out because I was doing arbitration and now all of a sudden they're like oh did you fill it out. But I have repeatedly tried to get in contact with an attorney and I never get a response and whenever I do get a response it's pretty generic or it's somebody that's acting like they're mad because I am trying to contact an attorney that is getting paid to do a job that they are not doing.

They're my lawyer's and not once have I had any problems with communication. Let alone been misled in my lawsuit sometimes it's best to leave it to the lawyer's and not speculate about anything 💯 it's in the judge's hand at the end of the day they can't snap there fingers and pay you when you want that's not how it goes..calm down people or I suggest yall find you a different attorney problems solved.

I know this is a common thing to hear when people are disappointed with something but when I say "STAY AWAY", in this case it's definitely sound advice. I joined on to the xeljan's class action suit, which shortly after, in my case, was upgraded to a mass tort claim back in March of 2019 after being seriously injured with a pulmonary embolism and requiring two surgeries as a result. After 7 years I still have not seen one penny. This firm has used every excuse in the world to not pay out on my suit. Back in 2023 they told us the case was settled and asked for information required to settle out any liens that were present. They claimed they were getting a head start on settling these liens via an external company that specializes in this process. Fast forward to 2024 and I get a message from them requesting a copy of my driver's license so that they can start the process of settling liens?? They can't even keep their lies straight. According to them they had started this process the year before which obviously was not true. This brings us to December 2024 and the lawyer that is actually handling the case, Nathan Bess, phoned me to tell me that all but one of the liens on my settlement were negotiated out to zero dollars, and that he expected the remaining negotiation to net the same result. I could expect disbursement of funds within 30 days. As I write this review in mid-December 2025 the new lie is they're waiting for Pfizer to fund the special account that was set up to pay all of us. The account has not been funded and the lies continue. My personal opinion is that this law firm has received the funds, have stolen from "Peter to pay Paul" and is now waiting to replenish the coffers so that they can steal another client's settlement to pay us. This law firm should be investigated by the state's attorney's office in Florida. They have no business holding license in Florida or any other state for that matter to practice law. If I were the only one complaining about this type of behavior I'd say it might be me, however, review after review that I read contain the same complaints. No communications, lies when updates finally are issued, and finally, serious delays on payouts, and in some cases no payouts at all. Do yourself a favor, if you have a personal injury case or any case for that matter, do a little research and choose a law firm that is reputable because this firm "DEFINITELY IS NOT"! THEIR BEHAVIOR BORDERS ON CRIMINAL, AND I SUSPECT THAT IF SOMEBODY FINALLY INVESTIGATES THEM WE'RE ALL GOING TO FIND OUT THAT IN FACT, IT IS.

Horrible unprofessionalism! They haven't updated their website for almost a year. Lack of communication, you can't even have the decency to let us all know what's going on with our T-Mobile settlement! By far this is the worst lawyers office I have ever dealt with.

The appreciation for wanting to help disabled Veterans is there but once you find out that you’re taking over 70% of everything that would be coming in to help that disabled veteran is despicable. It’s incomprehensible that you couldn’t even split what you’re earning evenly with the veteran that is giving you what you’re earning.

I have no complaints. As a paralegal, I know firsthand that clients will often criticize communication even when a firm delivers results. Honestly, I went into the 3M case with very little hope. After dealing with hearing loss and going through 3 ear surgeries from a shipboard incident during my service, I didn’t believe any compensation was going to be issued. But this law firm proved me wrong in the best way. The outcome they achieved meant more to me than I can put into words. And despite what people often say about communication, every time I reached out with a question, I received a timely response. Thank you and the team for exceeding my expectations and for helping our fellow veterans. Your work truly made a difference.

My experience with this company has been deeply regrettable. The lack of communication is a significant issue; call-backs, especially concerning sensitive and time-critical information, were consistently and unacceptably delayed. The structure of the settlement payout was highly misleading and is now causing severe financial hardship. We were informed that our settlement would provide necessary assistance, but the funds are now being dispersed in partial, annual payments over a five-year period, severely diminishing their immediate utility. The most concerning issue is the unjustified unclear double-billing of fees. Despite the fees being explicitly deducted and accounted for in the initial settlement letter, the company is also applying substantial fees (allegedly 45%) to each subsequent annual payout. This practice essentially results in fees being taken out on every single payout, which was not transparently disclosed. Instead of providing the expected financial relief, the confusing fee structure and prolonged payout schedule have left us with only a small fraction of the anticipated settlement amount. This company needs to urgently review its fee disclosure and communication protocols
