I was assigned Sarah Riedel as conflict counsel after I declared a conflict with the public defender’s office. Unfortunately, her representation left me feeling abandoned and betrayed. Despite knowing the facts of my case — including a defective probable cause affidavit, prosecutorial misconduct, ex parte communications between the ADA and judge, and evidence suppression — Ms. Riedel filed no motions, raised no objections, and failed to advocate on my behalf. She also did not challenge judicial bias when the court refused to accept my pro se filings, leaving me in a constitutional vacuum where I had no attorney acting for me and was not permitted to represent myself. Her silence in the face of these issues gave the appearance of collusion with the prosecution and the court, rather than loyalty to her client. Instead of defending me, she appeared to stand aside so that the State’s objectives could proceed unchallenged. The Sixth Amendment guarantees not just the presence of an attorney, but a loyal advocate. I did not have that in Ms. Riedel. My experience with her was one of inaction, silence, and ineffective assistance, and it contributed directly to the pressure I felt to plead guilty simply to move forward. She also perjured herself in testimony. She is probably one of the worst attorneys in the Oconee Judicial Circuit. She knew the Judge Sarah Wall and DA Tim Vaughn and ADA Brad Childers were acting corruptly and she chose to remain silent. SHE WILL NOT ADVOCATE FOR YOU, EVER. If you need an attorney who will actually fight for you, I cannot recommend her.

She is very good she fought for me and my mom years ago when she was first starting out and she won it for us very thorough I will always use me Sarah if I ever need her for any thing thanks Sarah its Julia Leverette donna nesmiths daughter y'all try her out if you ever need a good lawyer

Heard she was wonderful, and has a multi-faceted practice, fair and reasonable pricing. I hope to be seeing and retaining her soon seein for an administitive matter. I'm hoping i found a peoples champion to navigate the state's complex bureaucracy. Average person can't do much without goid lawyers and the State has plenty. Fair? Amendment: $250 for a consult, and no gaurantee she will be of any help.

This is hands down The best Attorney's in Macon.The third time they have helped with whatever issues were at hand.They are very professional, polite ,knowledgeable and Rock the court room every time !!!! I received a letter from Sarah Riedel a year and a half after my divorce was final demanding that I allow my ex husband to come to my house and retrieve items from my home. She was not involved in the original divorce settlement and I had an off duty police officer on my property when he removed all belongings that was awarded him in the divorce decree and the off duty police officer had signed off on this. The letter was demanding and gave me 10 days to respond. Without knowing this case and what had already transpired I was at a loss as to why she was demanding me to allow an ex husband access to my home when he was not allowed unsupervised entry a year and a half earlier when the divorce was finalized. Upon contacting my original attorney in my divorce case I was advised ignore this request and throw this letter in the trash. If it was warranted that I was holding the ex husband's possession then why had he not contacted his attorney who represented him in the divorce? Very unprofessional and Sarah Riedel should have researched this before sending a demanding letter to a settled Divorce case. I would never recommend this firm to anyone.

After calling for assistance, I was told that someone would reach out to me within a day or two. However, when I followed up, I was informed that another person would need to handle my case and that they would contact me within 24 hours. It has now been a week, and I have yet to receive any communication from them. The lack of follow-through and professionalism displayed by this law office is unacceptable. What's even more disheartening is the apparent racial discrimination I experienced during this process, despite the fact that my money is just as good as anyone else's. Discrimination has no place in any professional setting. I strongly advise against seeking services from anyone at this law office based on my experience. Customer service and fair treatment should be fundamental principles in the legal profession, and unfortunately, this office falls short in both aspects.

Will talk you into giving her more money for a case in another matter and then will abandon you and tell you to settle. Sara has a good case in her office but does not bring that to the court room. Sara will leave you with the worst case scenario as your best option.

Mrs.Riedel and Erica are very helpful. Mrs.Riedel is very knowledgeable and she works hard for her clients.She ensures she calls you back when you have any questions. She is a great lawyer when you are facing dfcs. She was able to get us a court date quickly and Visitation and also placement for my children with family and out of a foster home .She is the Best I would recommend her to anybody .
