Compare these against any other firm you're considering — most attorneys have only two or three themes reviewers consistently return to.
How we compiled this: CrashStory aggregates public Google reviews, Colorado crash records from CDOT and local agencies, and firm-provided profile data. We do not endorse any firm. Review intelligence scores are derived from automated sentiment and theme analysis of public reviews — treat them as one signal among many, not a verdict.

I was spoken with kind regards to my situation, spoke very clearly and was very professional.
I do not recommend anyone trusting this firm. Unfortunately I did retain them without reading their reviews specifically on Yelp. Sort tge reviews on Google by the lowest ones and you do find out the pattern how they operate. Throughout my time with them, my case was shoved around a lot. Every single time it was a different associate working on the case. At some point, I did try to take my case somewhere se because I realized my mistake retaining them. However, they refused to let it go and insisted to have my case. As the deadline for filing approached, they contacted me at 6 am, 3 days to the deadline, to notify me they cannot handle it! So basically they wasted my time for months, only to drop it last minute! If you read all the reviews carefully, they have done it to other people before. Needless to say, I will be filing a complaint with the bar and sharing my experience on all social platform ro raise awareness! Update: Do you think it could get any worse? On May 21st, their office sent a very clear email stating they will not file and they do npt proceed. They also advised me to see other legal representation ( 48 minutes to filing deadline) which I did. Once their representation was terminated, they continued to falsely represent me without consent! The moment I hired another person, they hopped back in the case! Pretty sure you cannot just decide to represent someone whenever you feel like it without their consent!!! Avoid this firm at all cost.

I contacted this firm regarding a strong employment discrimination case. The intake person did not accurately convey my situation to the reviewing attorney. The rejection letter cited at will employment as the basis for declining despite the fact that I already had a right to sue notice which makes that reasoning irrelevant. It appears the attorney never received the correct information about my case. Their intake process requires significant improvement as it may be costing potential clients and the firm itself legitimate cases.

My phone intake appointment, with Thirdy, was very helpful and reassuring. I’ve never been in a position like this, and it’s pretty overwhelming. But after speaking with him about my case, I feel some comfort, which I have not had in many weeks. I’m grateful for that. (Praying that they will represent me, in this matter. 🙏)

I'll always respect this law firm for suing Mercer University on behalf of sexual assault victims. That school should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.. i'll always wish i'd never gone at all

I began my journey with this firm in 2022. Since then, I have had three different attorneys. The present attorney stayed with me for a year and she suddenly released herself without so much of a goodbye. I get a call from an attorney saying that the former attorney wanted to pass it to him without knowing anything about me or the case. She was a black woman and he is a white man. I was already distraught because the company is charged with retaliation and discrimination as I am a black employee. I signed a forty-five contingency contract because I did not have ten thousand dollars to retain them at the time. I am in the middle of a settlement and they are attempting to take fifty percent. After the turmoil that I have went through for four years, I am dissatisfied with this firm. Law firms charge anywhere from thirty to forty percent contingency. It feels like I am a financial object instead of a human being who deserves justice. BUYER BEWARE. I was sent an email on February 20 from another female lawyer that is allegedly taking over the case unbeknowingly that it is being handled by a lawyer in Chicago. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SIGN. Update: DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM AS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES With a 45% contingency fee . Use Kirby G Smith Law Firm as their my new firm.

Constance Cooper represented me for over a year in a complicated clawback dispute with a former employer and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She took on my case under a tight deadline, even while recovering from COVID, and immediately got to work reviewing evidence, consulting with a colleague, and laying out a strategy. Throughout the case she was responsive, strategic, and consistently challenged opposing counsel. If you need a sharp employment attorney who will actually fight for you, Constance is the one !

I’ve been dealing with an extremely difficult situation with my employer, a public agency, using public funds to finance a personal campaign against me and others. Finding an attorney willing to even look at the facts has been incredibly hard, and trying to navigate all of this has been enormously stressful, so initially, meeting with the attorneys at Barrett & Farahany felt like the first real moment of hope I’d had in months. They listened, took my situation seriously, and on Friday told me they would take my case. They said I would receive the retainer agreement shortly. I relied on that. When I hadn't heard from them by EOB Friday, I emailed them, and then again on Monday. Asking that if something had changed, and there was some question about whether they would take my case, to please just let me know so I could prepare accordingly. They knew about my situation and how my FMLA is counting down. The only response I got was to say they were traveling and would get back to me. I said a sigh of relief, because surely if something had changed, they would have communicated that, right? As my friend pointed out when I gave him the explanation: they're a national law firm, and all staff capable of sending a retainer agreement are traveling? I should've known, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well, then the call today (Tuesday) came, and not even in the morning, they didn't let me know until 3PM this afternoon, wasting another precious business day I could've spent finding someone else; with no warning and no prior communication, they did a complete 180 and told me they could no longer take my case. No explanation, no clarification, no feedback, nothing. Just an abrupt reversal after telling me they were moving forward. Being dropped without any reason left me with few options and in an even worse situation than before. I paused intakes with other firms because I believed I finally had representation. Instead, I was left without answers at a moment when I needed stability the most. This experience was destabilizing and deeply disappointing. They couldn't even do me the decency of responding to confirm receipt or give me an answer about my alternate proposal, which ultimately shows how little they really cared about my situation and success. If you are in a vulnerable position and need a firm that stands by its word, follows through on commitments, and understands the impact their decisions have on people’s lives, I would recommend going with someone else, as they obviously don't take those responsibilities seriously. I'll update my review, once I end up finding a different attorney to help me.
