I’m giving it a 3 star at this point. I applied first of February and was approved. I was told that attorney would be contacting me that week. I had just been made homeless. It was end of April before my assigned attorney finally got back to me. He sent paperwork which I promptly filled out and returned. It’s June 14th and my soon to be ex informs me that he heard my attorney had been arrested. I called and spoke with Kim. She is why I’m giving stars at all. Turns out they assigned me a new attorney who sent my papers to the safehouse address in another state. I never received papers because my first assigned attorney told me I had to move back to Arkansas. I emailed him when I moved back to Arkansas and gave him the address I’m staying at… when Kim shared this I broke down crying…Kim did not slack on her job. She went above and beyond to comforted me and reassured me she would help. Me straighten this out.

They responded timely although i had tried months ago and never heard from them. I was told they couldn't help that i should call a civil attorney. It's legal aide. If i had money for a civil litigation i wouldn't have been trying them for so long.

My experience was fantastic to say the least! Misty Grady is very knowledgeable and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that I was aware of all new laws that pertain to my case. I felt like she put me 1st everytime I spoke with her, even tho every visit she had stacks of papers and folders on her desk. I can't thank her enough for all she has done for me. SHE GETS THE JOB DONE!!!
