First and foremost, I would like to thank God for allowing me to stand strong and granting me the strength and wisdom over these past two weeks during my final trial at the Nassau County Court in Mineola, New York. He has shown me once again that I am capable of overcoming anything. Nothing is impossible for me now. I am proud of who I am because I believe in myself. I am incredibly blessed, and I cannot fully express to the world how justice has finally been served.

In October 2018, I was a pedestrian in a car accident. Thank God, I was able to walk away from it. However, I did sustain injuries and was out of work for a long period of time. After five years, and many court appointments with very talented attorneys, my case actually went to trial. This was something that Rosemarie knew I was terrified of. As a matter of fact, we giggled about it many times. But the time had come and once again, she was the one that got me through it. In the end, I received a very fair settlement through the hard work, professionalism, and “never give up“ attitude of so many at EKJ. I was touched by so many attorneys, including some of the partners, and everyone was amazing. I was treated with respect and dignity and compassion for five years. I would like to give a special thank you to my attorney at trial, Colin Rathje, who did a fabulous job. Colin worked very hard for me and kept me up-to-date on everything that was happening in the courtroom, which is not an easy thing to do. He was so caring and solid and tough. In the end, decisions needed to be made. He explained everything to me and guided me to a good and just decision. I will always appreciate your hard work and effort. Thank you, my friend.
