I had already spoken to a few Lawyers before calling here. When I heard that an initial consultation was going to cost me $400, and starting price for a retainer was $5000 my jaw hit the ground. Nobody else in the area (3 others) offered me some free advice and retainer was less then half. The lady I spoke to tried to list all the accomplishments of the lawyer to rectify the cost.
