Worst experience I ever had in my life with this firm . I feel like my case wasn’t handled properly due to not being a paying client and being on contingency the firm didn’t care the work was sloppy. It started out ok until they filed my complaint with a ton of errors , not including the full story, not including all the names of the bad actors and refused to amend the complaint within the deadline . Then they started not replying to emails as much after the depositions and didn’t fully answer the discovery in my case and took me to mediation with a low ball range. The mediator was horrible he didn’t negotiate a fair settlement to match my damages so I had to say no due to the high contingency rate in the contract and the firm refused to counter their offer for a higher amount that matches my damages and personal injury . I was offered a lower contingency rate but it didn’t make sense due to my debt being so high from being unemployed and they didn’t pay all of my damages. Since I didn’t take the settlement due to it not having personal injury provisions or enough to match my lost wages now I am screwed because they dropped me as a client and refuse to take me back to fix the mess they made. I would happily change my review if they ethically and honorably take me back to amend my complaint, do the hard work to win or renegotiate a higher settlement. Now I am struggling to file paperwork on my own and the opposing law firm is harassing me with further discovery that this law firm supposedly did and did not do . I am trying to file paperwork so they can’t end my case with an MSJ . I am actively looking for a new attorney and feel upset about the overall situation and can’t afford to have an attorney lien. The whole situation is messed up and I am doing what I can to call the court and figure out how to file alone without getting rejected 🙅‍♀️… I pray I will have justice and that the CSU will pay a personal injury settlement , lost wages and emotional distress damages and not dismiss my case ..
