I made an appointment with Lonnie Foster to see if I had a case concerning hidden assets from my ex husband. On their website it states free consultation but I was charged $340! I paid $3,500 upfront and he did not do anything for my case! He charged to see if I even had a case which is not ethical! Lonnie never called me with an update on my case as I was the one doing all the research yet he charged $552.50. He would "review my file" and charge $340 each time with no follow up call concerning his "review"!!! I was appalled when I called him to inform him that I was at a dead end and requested a refund. Lonnie said there is no refund as he had "worked on my case". I have two children who are attorneys and believe me they are honest and ethical and would never treat a client as I have been treated! Please do your research and read reviews before hiring an attorney.

It looks like there are more than one person that have experienced a violation by this law firm a violation of ethics at least. I will be filing a grievance with the state bar association I suggest the rest of you do the same. My 39-year-old husband died of a major heart attack suddenly leaving me and his 5-year-old son alone. I asked Foster Law Firm ( Lonnie Foster ) for help to do the probate.I was charged $2,000, given the affidavits that needed to be filled out and filed with the court. These are firms that are easily found on the Internet and free to download and orint. I was having trouble filling out the paperwork getting no help from Foster Law firm. My father went ahead and took care of the probate for me because I didn't know how to fill out the paperwork and I wasn't getting any help from my supposed lawyer. When I ask for my $2,000 back Lonnie Foster mailed a signed letter stating the $2,000 was exhausted because of the several hours of work that he had done on my case. He didn't do anything on my case except get up out of his chair and hand me some paperwork to fill out. I'm sure you can imagine your husband passing away suddenly is quite an ordeal. I've lost my house I don't have a job I need all the money I can get. Mr. Foster has taken advantage of a widow, and has performed absolutely no work for me at all. And will not give me back my money. His behavior is reprehensible, please second guess your decision to use him.

Customer service was good. Was looking for probate counsel. It seem their focus of law is accident and criminal.
