He charged me $17,000 and assured me that he had the expertise to either secure probation for me or have the charges dropped altogether. Over the course of the next two years, I was told repeatedly that I wouldn't need to be present for court appearances. González claimed he would take care of everything. However, as time passed, I found myself increasingly in the dark about what was actually happening with my case. I received no communication from him regarding the court's decisions or the outcomes of hearings that were supposedly taking place. It was an unsettling experience to feel so disconnected from a situation that had such profound implications for my life. Finally, on May 17, 2025, I reached out to him for an update.
