The prosecutor incorrectly cited my traffic charge. Evidence insufficient to prove I was violating the traffic because it was a post-stop video. I do not believe these guys qualify for their job.

Private Prosecutors that are not public officials. I asked for discovery for a year and was given it 30 minutes before trial. The discovery letter sent back simply said we don't have to give discovery.

We hired Melissa K. Mellor with Hansen Law out of Pleasant Grove specifically thinking she would be aggressive and take on our case with enthusiasm and effort. We are trying to recover 7 million dollars in a fraud case. We were disappointed in every way. After we fired Ms. Mellor and hired another lawyer, we constructed a time-line of our interaction with her. Our correspondence when she did respond was, “Sorry for the delay,” “I’m sorry for the lack of progress on your case,” “I also apologize because my workload has prevented me from devoting the time necessary to your case,” and placing blame for lack of response and progress on personal issues (family emergency, vertigo and oral surgery). After a few weeks, we sent another email stating we were frustrated with the lack of communication and asked if we should find another attorney if she didn’t have the time for our case. She responded again, apologizing for the delay and said she was “confused from a previous email.” We find out from our new attorney that work we thought was done was never done and we were shocked to find out that Ms. Mellor gave the defendant options that were not in our best interest and basically sent us backwards and cost us valuable time to pursue justice. Her neglect, negligence and nonperformance after approximately ten months makes me question her ability to actually be a lawyer.

Cherylyn Egner in family/custody law was the worst expirence of my life. I signed on in November of last year. Consultation was fine but then nothing happened for 9 months until I messaged to try to get things going again, then I was completely ignored I emailed and left messages, and called several times. I ended up canceling my legal shield subscription and asking for my retainer back, and that’s when I got a response. Cost me nearly 1300 and a year of time, for literally nothing. Very unprofessional. Considered suing for gross negligence. I can’t speak about the other lawyers here but don’t use Cherylyn.

We are working on a trust with Hansen Law. This was our first meeting with Tucker, who was personable and knowledgeable. So far so good.

Tucker Hansen is the Prosecuting Attorney for Cottonwood Heights. He is a private prosecutor that has no connection to the city of Cottonwood Heights. He does not read the case before court, he wastes taxpayer money and time. He will not return calls or emails. Tucker is all about money and not doing what is right in the court of law.

Still working through my case, but Cherylyn and Melissa have been fantastic to work with and have done a wonderful job helping me, especially given the difficult circumstances of my situation, as well as my severe anxiety through everything.
