I hired Megan Raymond for a minor speeding in a work zone case, my first ever offense. Most people would handle this themselves, but I wanted an attorney to help guide me through the process. From the start, communication was poor. When I first called, Megan was unavailable and Aaron handled scheduling. He told me to call the Monday of my court week. I called Monday with no response, Tuesday with no response, and only got through when I asked for an operator and Aaron picked up again. Megan was polite when I finally spoke to her, but clearly rushed. She told me to be at court at 8am and wait for her. We never established a clear plan on where or how we would meet. She also instructed me to leave my phone in the car. I waited outside the courtroom for over 10 minutes, asking multiple attorneys if they were Megan. As my anxiety grew, I eventually went inside and waited another 50 minutes. Megan never showed. When I asked another attorney for help, they checked with the prosecutor and told me I had been marked as a no-show. I left the courthouse frustrated and called the firm. Aaron answered and immediately demanded payment for a future court date. This was a stressful and completely avoidable experience. Poor communication and lack of accountability. I would not recommend this firm.
