In the beginning, I know I was probably being unreasonably irritating at times due to the stress and uncertainty of everything (sorry, Micheli!), but she never once treated me with anything other than kindness and understanding. She is incredibly smart and anyone would be lucky to have her assigned to their case. Sean is an incredibly smart man, and although I only corresponded with him over the phone, I trusted him without hesitation. What stood out most to me was not only his intelligence, but his ability to remain calm, direct, and confident during such a difficult and uncertain process. I hired Sean to represent me in my family trial case, but I had a very disappointing experience. He rarely answered my phone calls or emails, and whenever I called his office, his assistant said he was busy with another trial. Without my knowledge or approval, he communicated with my ex-husband’s lawyer and made a deal that I was never shown. When I met him in his office, he asked me to sign the agreement but never shared any related emails or documents with me. He also kept seven boxes of my important case documents in his office and refused to return them, even when I needed them for my one-day trial. Because of this, I had to go to court without any documents or proof, and I lost my case as a result. It has now been three weeks since the trial ended, and he is still holding my documents and ignoring my emails. I have contacted him over twelve times with no response. I paid him $15,000, and he has not returned any of it. This experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
