So I wanted to leave a review about my experience last night. I have not used this law firm personally, however last night while I was in court in Rhinebeck I had the privilege of sitting next to Jonna Spilbor. This was random but recognized Jonna and while waiting for the Judge to arrive I struck up a conversation. Again I’m just a normal guy and Jonna is not my hired attorney. The conversation was general but she listen and offered advise about some personal issues I am having. That being said she did not have to talk with me and certainly didn’t have to be so kind and compassionate. I just felt the need to leave this review about my experience. I would hire Jonna and her firm in the future if I ever needed assistance again and certainly would refer her to anyone in need of assistance.

I had the most horrible experience with this law firm. It was very obvious after I paid the retainer that they were not interested in handling my case. They had my information from December 2024 until April 2025 and did nothing but write one letter. They rarely returned phone calls and proceeded to advise me that every time I called or emailed I would be charged so it was best to wait for the lawyers to contact me. Which they never did!!! They could have saved me time and money had they just said they couldn't handle my case. I did get what was left of my retainer once I told them I no longer wanted their services. I basically paid nearly $3,500 for 1 LETTER!! Do not use these attorneys they will rip you off. Go to Kevin MacKay in Poughkeepsie he is a much better attorney who will care about you and your case!

This firm is very professional, works very hard, does there due diligence, and doesn’t surpass anything. If your looking for a good law firm don’t second guess it, don’t shop around and go with JSL.
