As some might be aware, it most certainly is no walk in the park for individuals with mental health disorders to obtain SSDI benefits. Due to the fact that mental disabilities are the most difficult to prove, the vast majority of those who tend to apply for Social Security Disability benefits with this reasoning are met with a denial. In light of my daily struggles to maintain a normal life with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I had fought for 2+ years in hopes to obtain New York State SSDI benefits before I was finally referred to Kristen. I spoke with this woman regarding an issue I was having, she was very nice but, she asked me to get the information I needed to proceed. I thought that if I was looking to hire her that she would gather the info I needed. I had already tried to get it and was getting the run around. I did not go with this attorney, I wasn't going to pay her for me doing the leg work
