If I could give zero I would!!! My husband and I hired them to help us with a custody case. Not only did he not file the right paperwork according to the judge (which caused our case to get dismissed and have to start at square one!!), when we contacted them about where to go next, they set up a phone call and then emailed us saying we declined further representation (which we did not! We set up the phone!!) and that they were canceling our phone call. That we would have to submit a new request for service, when he didn’t even complete the services he was paid for the first time! At this point we feel scammed out of almost $5,000! Communication sucked, Laird sucked, this whole law firm sucks! Save your money and definitely find another firm to represent you, this is the Dollar Tree of law firms!
I would give zero Stars if I could. I hired this attorney through Marble Law, and unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from start to finish due to a complete lack of communication. I was never directly contacted by the attorney after signing on. The first draft of my dissolution paperwork was riddled with errors, including repeated misgendering of my spouse. This wasn’t a transgender or bigotry issue. It was simply a failure to pay attention to basic details that were clearly documented. When I received a bill for court fees, I was told the paperwork had to be submitted twice, but I was never given an explanation why. Given that the first draft had obvious mistakes, I can’t help but question whether it was mishandled the first time. Later, I was told I’d need to pay over $3,000 for mediation, BEFORE my spouse had even responded to the initial filing. I repeatedly asked for clarification on what mediation entailed and whether it was even necessary at that point in the process, but I got no answers. Then they s filed paperwork stating I had terminated them as representation, while I was still waiting on a call explaining what mediation was from the paralegal, Emily. Overall, I felt like I was left in the dark while being nickel-and-dimed for a service that seemed disorganized and inattentive. I expected better communication and basic competence. Unfortunately, neither were delivered.

If I could give zero stars I would this firm doesn’t communicate properly and makes you look like a complete idiot during meetings because I’ve called and called and called nobody answers the phone or returns calls and now I have to pay my wife’s attorney fees because i SPECIFICALLY asked if there was ANYTHING else needed in my mandatory disclosure and the paralegal said not that she was aware of I told her of all of my accounts except one which I put on myself but the other 2 I was not aware of! Don’t hire this firm unless you want to lose and have them call you and drain your funds because of THEIR lack of communication!!!!

Super professional, always up to the task at hand, and not afraid to take on the difficult cases. I can only assume some of the unfavorable reviews on google are due to clients having unreasonable expectations given their particular cases, because they aren't representative of my experience. Definitely recommend.

Misrepresented me by failing to properly communicate and ask any questions that went beyond whatever basic guidelines he follows. Do not expect him to go out of his way as he represented me in a child custody case and got me absolutely nothing. Ignored all important facts I discussed with him about the other parent and disregarded the witnesses that were with me at court. Then after losing when assuring me id have at least weekend visit. Mr. Laird blames me for failure to disclose information pertinent to the hearing. Poor excuse for someone who obviously didn't do their job. Absolutely a HORRIBLE attorney. Would have been better off representing myself. Unfortunately now I'm in the hole and have nothing to show for. Do not hire Mr. Laird if your expecting positive results.

Doesn't respond to phone calls, emails. Several emails, calls and office visits, does not respond and when he does it is an empty promise!

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Review: I recently hired Brian Laird an attorney who, unfortunately, proved to be highly unprofessional and utterly incompetent. Not only did the attorney fail to deliver on their promise, but they also showed a complete disregard for professionalism by resorting to the use of foul language during our interactions. From the outset, it was apparent that this attorney did not possess the necessary skills and knowledge required for my case. Their lack of attention to detail was evident in the numerous mistakes made throughout the legal proceedings. Important deadlines were missed, crucial documents were mishandled, and the attorney's overall preparation was subpar. What truly shocked me, however, was the attorney's unprofessional conduct during our conversations. Instead of maintaining a respectful and dignified demeanor, they would frequently resort to using foul language. This unprofessional behavior not only displayed a lack of respect for me as their client, but it also tarnished the overall perception of the legal profession. Aside from their incompetence and lack of professionalism, the attorney also failed to communicate effectively. They rarely returned my calls or emails promptly, leaving me in a state of constant anxiety and uncertainty about the progress of my case. Additionally, when I did manage to speak with them, their responses were often vague and lacking the necessary depth and legal insight. Given the exorbitant fees charged by this attorney, it is deeply disappointing to have received such a below-par level of service. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for legal representation. It is evident that this attorney lacks the skills, professionalism, and respect required to meet the needs of their clients. In conclusion, my experience with this attorney was highly unsatisfactory. Their lack of competence, combined with their frequent use of foul language, created a toxic and unproductive environment. As a result, I do not recommend this attorney to anyone seeking legal assistance. It is crucial to choose an attorney who demonstrates the utmost professionalism, competency, and respect for their clients. ………
