After an accident at work, and the subsequent fumbling of my care by the workers comp dr’s, I was advised by my surgeon to seek legal counsel. I signed up with Law At Your Side and at first was pleased with the decision I made. That quickly went away as I have been essentially abandoned by the team. I have sent multiple texts to my case manager, Shyla, and have called multiple times over the months and have received zero contact. The last time I spoke to them I was informing them of a cross country move and had questions about how to go about this move with appointments set up already and in general how to manage the move with the case. I was basically told that I wasn’t allowed to move, which is insane and would have been a monumental mistake for me career-wise. Since then I have been ignored at every attempt to contact them, and have been left to navigate my situation alone. Even after being pushed into an early P&S by workers comp, which I contacted with no answer in how to proceed, I have been unable to receive any word from my lawyer or case manager. I have been left completely abandoned. I now have a letter coming today from an attorney from my employer, and I have called multiple times for an update on my case and where I stand with the p&s eval and what this letter might entail. ANY kind of update to my case would be nice. My advice to anyone who is already navigating a difficult and frustrating process like workers comp, skip law at your side completely, and find a lawyer and team who will actually contact you, fill you in on important case updates, and respond to your concerns and questions. I have not been given any of those things in MONTHS and now am having to figure all of this out on my own. **EDIT AS of 2/10/26** Since my previous post and review I was contacted pretty quickly by Law At Your Side. I was informed that the person who was my case manager was promoted(Seriously, how?) and I would have a new person I was working with. They were very apologetic for the lack of communication and promised that moving forward they would remedy the situation. From that point on I have had regular contact with Orlando and the office. I have been kept up to date and informed on all of the goings on with my case. My case involved a lot of travel and moving parts due to a move out of state and throughout the entire situation, which was very difficult and draining, I felt like I had a team behind me and advocating for me. It was a rough start for me and Law at Your Side, however they were able to rebound and come through and become a supportive partner in this situation. I was happy with the settlement I received (after 3 offers) and I can say that I recommend Law at Your Side to anyone who is needing help with a Workers Comp Case.

I do believe my case was worth more because of my injuries were mis documented by the QME doctor the first time around which didn’t help my case but this isn’t the lawyers fault.
