I hired her to handle my divorce, but unfortunately, I never felt she was truly advocating for my best interests. The process felt more like basic paperwork filing and deadline tracking, without much guidance or legal advice along the way. At times, I even felt she was more aligned with my ex’s side than mine. To be fair, she may be very skilled at what she does, and perhaps my expectations were different. As someone who had been a homemaker for 18 years, I may have lacked the experience or confidence to express my concerns at the time. If I ever found myself in a similar situation again, I would more likely look for representation that feels more supportive.

Communicates right away. The staff is very helpful and polite. I appreciate all the work that was put in.

Perhaps if you and your ex have agreed on every aspect of your divorce and the only action that needs to be taken is filing paperwork, Ms. Din is a good choice. If your case requires legal expertise, she is a poor choice. I was very clear with Ms. Din about the outcome I was pursuing during the consultation; only one modification to the existing MSA. She indicated at that time that she felt confident she could handle the case. After burning through her retainer and getting nothing accomplished, she withdrew from the case (which is something she frequently does) stating she didn’t think she could get what I wanted. Additionally, we had conflicts regarding the strategy of the case, which, admittedly were complex. After sighting “office policies” that are not reflected in her contract, she withdrew two weeks prior to a scheduled mediation. 2 weeks. Six months and $4000 later, absolutely nothing was accomplished and most importantly, she compromised my case. Response: “compromising” my case is an opinion, not a fact. My case never began. I asked only for mediation and that never happened. Note, zero of the stated facts are denied.

Ms. Din was an exceptional attorney during one of the toughest times of my life. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and calming for the soul. She wants and pursues the very best for her clients. Her professionalism is Top Notch! Anna and her staff are the best!
