My advice, "avoid" this firm if you are looking for polite, communicative, informative, timely, thorough representation that cares about the goals you are trying to achieve. Courtney and Mann were hired to file my mother's will and handle the legal process of closing her estate. There have been many issues and delays with my mother's estate that I believe could have been avoided if at the beginning of signs of concern with Mr. Courtney, I had found other representation. Before the estate was closed I finally decided to terminate his services and sought other representation. More than once he was rude and in my opinion, unprofessional, having to apologize to me and members of my family more than once. Many times I felt like he was more of an adversary than an advocate. You make up your own mind, but hopefully you can avoid the ordeal that I, as executor, and my family have experienced.
