Ben helped me with my DUI case. He was very helpful when I was going through a rough time. Mr. Cates represented me in a DUI case back in 2016 (.156 BAC, 20mph over the speed limit). After calling around to multiple attorneys who all said my only hope was to plead guilty or hope for a “wet reckless”, I was referred by another attorney to Mr. Cates. He told me to wait and ended up delaying the case on my behalf to accommodate the timeline for what he anticipated would be a change in legislation governing DUIs in the legal district for the southern half of California. As a result, a .156 BAC, 20mph over speed limit DUI became a dismissal and $600 fine. Mr. Cates was easy to work with and was quick to respond to all questions I had.
