Attorney Patrick Filan handled several legal matters for me and did an outstanding job. As a former practicing lawyer, I can attest to the high quality of his work and character.

The OIG began to look at patient safety more boradly and report after report has documented the extent of harm that patients experience getting "healthcare" The most recent report looked at Medicare beneficiiaries and found that 27% of older Americans suffer some sort of injury during hospitalization. Of course, statistics never tell the story. Each number is a person, someone with a family and they also suffer as the result of harm done to a patient.
