Our family member got into trouble which may have very huge consequences on the immigration status. Since the outcome of this has a big impact on our family, we had to speak with multiple attorneys. We have had experience with a terrible attorney who promised a lot to get retained, but after getting the retaining fee he did not do what he promised, he did not fight hard and wanted us to accept the prosecutor’s first offer. As a result, the outcome was not anything better than what a public defender could have done for. So we are very careful this time. Finally we decided to retain attorney Greenberg since we felt we could trust him. Attorney Greenberg said he would work on pre-filling: negotiate for a civil compromise and work with the DA for not filing the case. We strongly believe he will be the one who can fight hard for us for the best outcome. We will update the outcome soon.
