I am a month in a half late on posting a review but definitely better late than never. I had my doubts about Uvalle during this entire process. I felt like I had unanswered questions because when they took my case initially over the phone it was rushed because I was on a break so the person who I talked to was going super fast. I did request an in person meeting and I was introduced to my case manager Jennifer Figueroa. She explained the process to me but I still had more questions so she went and got her manager and I can't remember her name but she broke down everything to me. When it's your first time having a lawyer it's always good to know the ins and outs. I did remain in contact with Jennifer I would have liked to have had more communication on a regular basis instead of three and four weeks out but I understand that they stay busy and when I was contacted the information was still the same just continue to go to all my doctors appointments in that they are still working on my case. I also checked online for the status in updates. Jennifer gave me my lawyer name and number and told me I can call him as well. I did call and talk to Harris Nelsen and he called me a few times as well when the case got into the negotians stage. I was really trying to make sense of all the stages. I didn't like the news he told me at first about what the insurance company Kemper wanted to settle with and I let Harris know that and he worked hard with Kemper to get a higher settlement and I appreciated that. When it got to the closing stages I worked with Cindy Veldanez she went over the closing with me and let me know about the document that would be sent over and it breaks it all down. I had some questions about that so I left a message with Harris and he called me back right away and answered all my questions. I must say it has been an experience and I am glad that I chose Uvalle and that they was patient with me and this entire process.
