I cannot say enough about this personal injury law firm and the way they handled my case. What started as one car accident turned into a secondary accident, multiple head injuries, and a very complicated traumatic brain injury situation. Insurance companies do not make that easy. When you are dealing with brain injuries, medical documentation, overlapping claims, and trying to function as a special needs mom, everything becomes convoluted very quickly. Todd and I have been friends for years, which is why I trusted him. But what truly impressed me was not just the friendship. Navigating the legal system can be incredibly challenging. There are plenty of attorneys to choose from if need a tour guide for the journey. If you want winners, it’s slim pickings, and you can’t go wrong with Lone Star Legal. I’m not writing this review because they agreed to take on my case, I’m writing it because they have the integrity, moral, and ethics not too. Despite a busy hump day, Todd and Robbye were kind enough to accommodate my last-minute consultation request. Unfortunately, due to his current caseload, Todd didn’t have the requisite bandwidth to take on my case. Fortunately for his clients, Mr. Kelly’s self-imposed limit will ensure they all receive the highest quality and exemplary representation that they deserve. Quality over quantity is a breath of fresh air in a profession where the exact opposite is the status quo. “It’s better to do nothing at all than to ever do it half-assed” is a principle adopted by winners and disregarded by the tour guides. I met Todd Kelly many years ago when he lived in Houston. When I was injured in a workplace accident I immediately contacted him to discuss my injury. He bent over backwards to assist me in a very expeditious manner in handling my case. Through his skillful negotiating skills he enabled me to get a very nice settlement. I had another issue come up a year later and I called on him again. There was nothing he could do but he did spend his time to discuss the matter which I appreciated.
