Tonight I called Macomb Law Group for help and the man laughed at me because I’m a 19 year old in adult foster care, as soon as I said I was 19 he stopped taking me seriously. He said they don’t take cases that aren’t serious and than went on to say they take cases where people die or are seriously injured even though their website says they take cases of emotional abuse. I was choked and thrown on the ground by staff after they screamed at me and cussed at me for hours and I had a possible concussion and marks on my neck. The staff choked me and threw me on the ground because I wasn’t supposed to close my door and I tried to close my door. The man didn’t even let me tell him the full story before he stopped taking me seriously. Just because I’m younger and in adult foster care doesn’t mean I don’t deserve to be taken seriously

Received horrible customer service and representation. At first we had a lawyer named Chris who was adamant to help with everything. We stopped getting responses and after a few weeks of no responses we finally were told he is no longer at this law firm and Jim would take over the case. After a couple of months Jim sent a letter saying he is no longer representing the case and good luck. So we requested a copy of the file under law and we're told to pay 850 dollars. After responding and saying legally those files should be provided, by law after a lawyer withdraws representation, we received an additional email saying we owe 1500 and all documents will be withheld until paid. Just go somewhere else. This law firm is not looking out for you and unless you've lost a leg they will terminate their representation and leave you with nothing.
