We began working with Stephen Soos after our attorney left Magavern Magavern Grimm to become a Supreme Court Judge. Since we did not know Stephen, I’ll admit, we were a little apprehensive. As it turns out, Stephen is second to none. Our multi-item matter dates back to 2019. None of our items were “easy”. There were difficulties in opening an estate which included multiple court dates, because there was guardianship involved. There was an extremely challenging eviction that included COVID protections, and a judgment for past rent. There was a large nursing home bill that was successfully negotiated, including strategic management of our tax options. And finally, there was a lengthy representation of our property, including the accounting and closing of the estate this year. Stephen managed or helped manage all these items for us, whether they were his area of expertise or not. He was our constant “go-to”. Stephen was always patient with us and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. His response time was excellent. Even if Stephen didn’t have the answers we were seeking, he would reach out and let us know that more time was needed. Communication is key and Stephen was always responsive and communicated with us regularly. I am happy to say that we now consider Stephen Soos our family attorney.
