We hired Richa Malik to help with my parents’ green card (consular) process, and unfortunately it was a very frustrating experience. After paying the full flat fee upfront, we ran into repeated mistakes in forms, confusion about basic parts of the process, and a lot of back-and-forth to correct things. Our case was handed off to someone else who didn’t seem to understand it at all, and communication was very disorganized. One incident that really concerned us was when I showed up for a scheduled appointment and she did not. When I followed up after going home, I was told she was downstairs at the salon. That moment made us seriously question the professionalism and attention our case was receiving from her. Before anything was filed, we decided to end the engagement because we no longer felt confident moving forward. We requested a partial refund for uncompleted work, but never received it. We also never received response addressing any of our concerns that we sent in details to them while ending our engagement. We ultimately completed the entire process ourselves without problem. Sharing this so others can carefully evaluate before committing to this law firm.
