Classes by Mark have great content. However, all other sectors of this firm lack professionalism and customer service skills. One team member left me waiting for an introductory call. Other team member didn't know how to provide specific information about continuing education credits.Not the best quality of services for what consumers are being charged.

Wow never come across a worse firm. Heard Mark Kohler on multiple interviews and podcasts and he sounded like an expert for real estate taxes (and I'm sure he is if you're a high roller and can get him to actually be your CPA but it's impossible). I can only speak to his CPA firm he runs but honestly I'd be surprised if it's even his firm and not just his name on a door. I tried to become a client, HUGE mistake. DO NOT DO IT!! They're not knowledgeable on real estate tax's and will convince you to pay $1,200 for a diagram fee, ask you to upload your tax documents and situation so they can get a lay of the land, then they won't review it and just hop on a 60 minute call to talk in circles about trusts, 401k's, IRA's and if you don't have those then they upsell you their services to create them all. Didn't even listen to your unique situation and prioritize when certain things need to happen. Bottom Line: if your taxes are fairly simple and straightforward I'm sure this firm will be fine and you'll think nothing less. But then again my advise is if your tax's are simple then also don't go here b/c it's 5x the cost what an average CPA charges to file your tax returns. Educate yourself and don't get swooned like I did.

The information I was provided about opening a self directed IRA and 401K was priceless. My attorney was very knowledgeable and attentive. He addressed all concerns related to protecting my investment. Anyone interested in going this route should contact this firm. They receive my highest recommendation.
