The work that Men's Rights Law Firm did for our family was very successful in winning against the opposing party. Our attorney was Harley Brook and he conducted himself with the utmost care for our case as he racked up many wins in court against the opposing party. Clearly Mr. Brook knows the law and is able to use facts to protect his clients. Thank you!!!
Harley and Jessica did an outstanding job. I can’t recommend them more. Life savers, I can find the words to express my gratitude.

If you’re looking for a lawyer to help defend your pro se ex, Harley Brook is exactly the lawyer you’re looking for. As a pro se mother with a highly abusive ex, Harley did a great job at protecting my rights as a mother. At the start of our hearings with Harley, a temporary emergency custody order was in place to protect my son from sexual abuse involving his stepmother, his father's wife. During the hearing, not only did I barely speak more than one sentence while Harley performed a monologue, but he spoke for me, and requested an extension of the temporary emergency order against my ex (his client). This protected my son for another 1.5 months at Harley’s request. Throughout the hearings, while Harley did a great job at protecting my rights as a mother and the safety of my child from his sexually abusive clients, I felt his arguments to be quite performative, resembling that of childlike tantrums when rulings weren’t working in his clients favor. Harley made a comeback during the most recent hearings, where his theatrical performance helped to expose his clients tendencies. During his second to last hearing defending the father, Harley blatantly pleaded the fifth when his client's testimony led to exposing the important factors of our history, including that the sexual relationship began while I was a minor, and his client was 5.5 years older than me. Nevertheless, I’m disappointed that even with 20+ years of experience, Harley never learned that pleading the fifth only avoids self incrimination, and mentioning it on his client's behalf only supported my testimony from a previous hearing, which hadn't been supported up until that point. While his client didn’t continue to plead the fifth himself, even after being reminded of his criminal rights by the judge instead of his lawyer, Harley saw the seriousness of my testimony, and believed that there were criminal matters that he implied by pleading the fifth. The judge then gave Harley a throwback to law school, by advising that only his client can plead the fifth as the fifth states SELF incrimination. During the next hearing, Harley’s client looked at him and said “help me.” Harley looked at his client and said “I can’t help you with this one. You have to answer her.” He healed something in me by forcing my ex to answer me after years of attempting to silence me. On the contrary, I’m also disappointed by the amount of errors from Jessica’s filings with the Court. Even after 20+ hearings on our case, the filings included many errors up until the end, including a motion of contempt he filed against me on his client’s behalf, which was not heard in Court as the motion was written incorrectly, as he argued that I was in contempt, but didn’t make any requests if the order was granted. Other errors included noting that the case was for a divorce in one of the filings, however we were never married. Harley represented my ex in monthly court hearings for years, so it was surprising to see such errors on his filings. Additionally, on the last filing in email communications, I made it clear how unacceptable it is to have the amount of errors on their filings with the Court, such as my son’s birthday, where in numerous filings they wrote that he is 1 year younger than he actually is. After 20+ hearings of common tactics to keep me in court with no resolution, my ex terminated Harley as his attorney, as I filed a motion to amend our parenting plan. The termination during a motion that holds the most weight in family court, clearly supports the lack of trust my ex had in Harley’s abilities to provide sufficient representation during such motion. 20+ hearings. 20 years of experience. Harley was terminated by his client because a 24 year old, pro-se, single mother pressed questions he could not defend, even with his 20+ years of experience, making the record un-mistakenly clear. I didn't go to college. I didn't go to law school. I just learned how to write an essay and a script in grade school. *Client never left review, easy defense as clients identity has to be protected*

I would like to thank Taylor and Julie on working on my case. I had to remove my previous attorney due to lack of responding back and follow up. Taylor and Julie had always gotten back to me in a reasonable time without me chasing them constantly. She also saved me over $9,000 regarding the equitable distribution which the other law firm didn't even offer. Thanks for your help and setting me finally free!
