Be explicit in stating that your complaint pertains to matters under the Office’s authority and cannot be dismissed on jurisdictional grounds. ### 2. **Supporting Evidence** Confirm that you have sufficient evidence to support your claims. Provide a brief list of the materials you are submitting, such as: * Emails * Letters * Transcripts * Audio/video recordings * Sworn or notarized statements * Witness affidavits Be sure to organize all evidence clearly. Buffie Merryman was absolutely awesome. I would definitely recommend her. She did a great job and we were so glad that she was appointed to our case.

Without going into specific details I can hands down tell you to avoid this individual if you can. She doesn’t care about your children or their best interest. She cares only about the money made off your case. She does not do her job when it comes to details about the case at hand. She is very much one sided right off the bat at the beginning of your case and will use anything and everything against you. Not to mention she likes to charge you for things she didn’t do in your case as well so make sure and check your fee receipt when you receive it. It’s a shame the justice system has people like her ruining the lives of innocent children and families and they do absolutely nothing about it. Again avoid her if it all possible.

Went months without hearing from her, meanwhile she had several phone calls and visits with my sons mom, but absolutely 0 with me before she made a decision. We have joint legal custody so he’s with me just as much as her, yet I did not receive the same communication or effort on her end towards me. Very biased for someone in her position to only take in, view, and make a decision that way. Do not use her, she’s only out to collect her monies and has no care on the ramifications she actually causes with these kids in doing such a poor job. I was the one to request her and whole heartedly wish I never had. I now see my kid less (was 50/50, now it’s standard)because I was trying to prove he is happy, healthy, and taken care of with me, but instead was never communicated with and she chose to only listen to the woman who has been actively trying to take full custody since day 1 of our divorce and manipulate anyone to get what she wants, control, and Buffie almost allowed it fully, but I am so thankful that the judge could see joint legal is the best option. Avoid her at all costs

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HORRIBLE!!! 1) If you're in search of legal representation, I urge you to continue your search. This particular lawyer demonstrates a lack of professionalism and expertise, providing no substantial help. Furthermore, their moral integrity is questionable. Please avoid engaging with this individual. 2) If you're involved in a child custody case and Buffie Merryman has been assigned as the attorney ad litem, exercise utmost caution. I recommend not disclosing any information to her without prior consultation with your personal attorney. Buffie's conduct is alarming and should be approached as if she were an adversary.

I do not post bad reviews so when i do it is for the sake of others well being. Buffie does not care about the actual well being of children. This is stated in any of her reviews. She does not look into things that is presented into evidence. Even if it false evidence and petty evidence such as fake allegation as to what childern have said or social media. Even when therapist have proven the evidence not true. Of course the other parent lied and it wasn't even dismissed. The evidence was so petty and none of it was true. She would state that we talked about her and Buffie used that. Never once was anything brought up or questioned to us. Even with the mother producing so much false evidence it was never looked into. There are situations that the mother puts them into that are dangerous. Just know in the end there will be consequences for these children that she failed to help. They have already suffered from her neglect. Please do not use this woman if you really love and want your kids. The childern she placed in a very bad situation now have been affected in so many ways. She never once cared about the kids. Even with so much evidence she never once looked into. Thanks Buffie for taking them out of their stable, healthy, caring, and responsible home. They were loved for and taken care of. We have 3 incomes to take care of them and there was always someone home with them to raise them. Buffie took that away from them. Please do your research There is a another review site that will not allow a bad review. I literally tried to write the nicest bad review and have been rejected 5 times. I wonder if that's why there is only 1 review on there and its good. It is a lawyer site I'm sure they pick and choose. Do your research and please be cautious. Then there are 9 reviews on Google but you can only see 5 or 6. Just think of what the others said and were taken off. These poor kids.

This has been a very professional experience working with Buffie on my case. I would highly recommend her.

Very unprofessional, judgemental, discriminatory, and did not do her job. We hired her for our kids and she manipulated and lied on what the children said multiple times. In the end it did not matter because the lies came out but do not hire her unless you want someone who is too busy to do what she is hired for and then covers it up with lies.
