Wow! I handled the first part of my SSDI claim myself and was rejected. When I hired Morgan & Weisbrod, they conducted a quick screen of my case and interview, then collected all of the information needed to support my case. I hardly had to lift a finger. M&W is so professional and efficient. My appeal and final hearing with the judge went spectacularly. They were frank, honest and up front. Thank you for all you do! Excellent job.

5/14/26 When I initially used these services years ago to initiate my case, it seemed effortless. I had a scheduled hearing, and the day before, my attorney called to inform me that we would cancel the hearing due to the possibility of losing the case. However, if I hire another attorney, these individuals will still collect fees from the new attorney. If I am not a client, I would receive a bill, but I would still not receive any benefits. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and the professionalism displayed is truly outstanding. I would never recommend these services, and every chance I get to submit a review, I will. I am currently still a client because I am being railroaded, and the communication is second to none…LOL. You may want to seek counsel elsewhere.

Please do your research before hiring this law firm. I wish I would have, as I’m now realizing I’m just one of many who has experienced their careless negligence. They filed an appeal on my case after writing them that I did not wish to go forward (since there was little communication or help during my case which ultimately got denied). I then had to speak directly to the SS office and tell them I did not approve the appeal and do not want them representing me anymore. Even the SS office was appalled they would file an appeal without my consent. I left many messages with receptionists as well as countless messages through the online portal since October 2025. I then resorted to sending a certified letter which was also ignored. When I finally got a hold of Ben in May 2026 after he sent me a letter (7 months later and after I had already fired them from my case which he wasn’t even aware of), he said the got a new portal in February, as if that was an excuse that my messages went unanswered for 4 months. He expressed no remorse or accountability and then asked if I ever tried calling the office, after I explained all of this to him. I was shocked I was asked such an unintelligent question like that, from someone who is supposed to be a professional. If they can’t be trusted to actually listen and have simple communication, they absolutely cannot be trusted with a court case.

I DO NOT recommend this attorney's office. I got (SSDI) denied at first when I applied on my own. The second time I went through this office and had an opportunity to be seen for a hearing. From my observation, the judge that was assigned to the case had already made her decision prior to me attending the hearing because the statement she made when I first appeared on the call was, "Let's hope no one is wasting their time." It showed me that this firm had already spoken to her ahead of time and that there was partiality. I noticed some questions were repeated and rephrased in various ways. When I got the call back regarding the judge's decision, I was given 4 options but then the attorney switched to 2 options. And proceeded to tell me they didn't feel the need to repeal my case.

After fighting for 3&1/2 years I finally got a favorable decision. Paul was my lawyer, and he went above and beyond for me. He was very kind and patient while handling my case. These lawyers kept placing me an attorney I did not like. They told me they would fix it. The attorney filed an appeal, then stopped representing me!!! No attorney would accept my case because of what this company did to me… I’m still seeking legal council and I would NEVER recommend this firm. The attorney that was representing me told me I was earning over 40K a year for the past couple of years. I had told him I had identity theft and that someone must be using my social security number to work. I was informed I was earning 40K exactly. That’s a salary position. I was a hairdresser!! We get paid on commission!! This law firm did nothing to fight for me and represent me the way they should have! They insisted that I was working trying to get ssi/diss with a police report and identity theft number that was given to them. I had to contact governor Abott to have him remove the amount that social security was startling I was earning. Back log 4 years of 40K while homeless…. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Try QUICK!! I already got a letter stating I may be eligible for ssi— not even a month and a half with QuickAid.com

Been denied 2 times n getting exhausted . I just want to give up. Has anyone gone in front of a judge? If yes how did it go

This firm helped me fight for 4 long years. After every denial the lawyer kept fighting for me , also my condition worsened over time. I am glad today ,that we finally got a win in my case.
