Really good attorney, very helpful describes what’s going on. Knows what he’s talking about overall great experience
Walking into court i was a apprehensive to say the least; what I wanted the outcome to be and reality were about to collide. Ken was appointed as my public defender and although I was skittish about possible outcomes,I had little choice, and even less faith they would accept it counter. Here's what went down, and why I can say Ken is a rarity in the legal profession in the fact that although he looked like he felt my counter was impossible,he complied and filed the counter for my case. He then presented my request to the prosecuter, brought up my reasoning for the deal, and what happened next would blow my mind Case Two started out rocky but Ken saved the day. Although they misdemeanors, I was facing 5 charges, alone were no big deal, suddenly became a big problem. at and the fines would have been in the thousands. When Ken informed me they accepted the counter, my heart lept, but things were about to get even better. Ken was responsible, although I wasn't present i know he presented the offer with his heart and mind behind it. Remember for me he was an overworked public defender. He could have boiler plated my case and got me out of there quickly and I would have had to accept it. Iknow this from previous experience. Instead, I walked out of court with a completely different feeling, one of relief. If I ever need legal services again, Ken Peterson would be my first choice and number two ain't even close. Ken achieved a deal that had no hope. And that's not the most amazing part of my encounter, Ken did something that no other attorney has ever done and the good fortune with my plea agreement pales in comparison. What he did I've never had happen to me or even witnessed it. Ken could have expressed his belief that the counter was not going to happen, even told me to take the initial deal, and i was wasting time on a dream that wasn't going to happen but he didn't, instead, he listened. The other day in court Ken Peterson not only gained my gratitude and allowed me to relax for the first time in weeks, he gained my respect as well. Although it's kinda their job to represent their client, apparently most attorneys believe they are representing us. They act on their experience, assessment of case and opposing council, then go before the judge and try to get the best outcome they can. But did they listen to what the client wanted, no. Did they spend enough time to understand clients position, no. Now with that in mind did the really represent the clients wishes, if he never asked? Ken Peterson listens. Most other attorneys do not in my experience. He took the time to understood my position, made sure I understood what was going on, then Ken Peterson represented me. He didn't go through the motions trying to get rid of me and on to his next case. He represented me like attorneys should represent everyone. How many others can say the same in court that day?
Mr Peterson is awesome lawyer he is the very Best!!!!! If you need the Best contact kenneth Peterson he will get the job done right

Ken Peterson at Northern Utah Law Firm is passionate, dedicated, responsive, genuine, and knowledgable. He is committed to fighting for justice. I am grateful to know him, although knowing a lawyer so well may not be the most ideal, I would never go to anyone else for legal defense and or advice. Ken feels and understands the burden legal matters bring, and turns that burden into results. Hands down one of the best not only in his profession but as a human being. Thank you Ken for not being complacent and serving your clients with the dedication you do.

From my very first interaction with Kenneth Peterson, I immediately felt a sense of confidence and reassurance. He came across as an exceptionally competent attorney—and he did not disappoint. Kenneth was succinct, direct, and impressively well-informed about my case, and achieved the best possible outcome. Able is truly the operative word—Kenneth is both capable and determined, and he works tirelessly for his clients. Kenneth brings something even more rare to the table: genuine kindness and care. He treats his clients with patience, respect, and understanding, which makes a world of difference during stressful times. Many, many thanks, Attorney Peterson.”

Ken Peterson saved me (from) a lot of trouble. I was injured and out of state, but he was able to get me an online hearing for charges that would have otherwise required me to be there in person. He also managed to get my penalties significantly reduced. A year after the fact, he was still available to help me with another issue. Not to mention his services are very affordable. I highly recommend choosing Ken as your attorney.
