I called to inquire whether O’Flaherty Law could assist me with applying for an athletic visa or Einstein visa (for a family friend). The young woman that answered the phone said I would need to schedule a consultation and pay $195 before they would even confirm for me whether they do, in fact, have experience with supporting that type of visa application. I responded that I’m interested in hiring a law firm to help us but it didn’t make sense for me to pay $195 to simply find out if they could actually support that type of visa application and then asked her if they could at least confirm whether or not they have experience with this type of application. She said “well you have a nice day sir” and hung up on me. I was rather shocked that this is how they would treat a potential customer / client.
