Potential clients should be aware of a significant lack of pricing transparency regarding this firm's consultation fees. I scheduled a consultation yesterday based entirely on their website, which prominently features "Schedule Your Free Consultation" buttons and states "Available 24/7 get a Free consultation." Furthermore, their homepage highlights specific case results like "$575K Employment Discrimination" and "$400K Retaliation" right next to these free intake prompts, clearly signaling to consumers that these practice areas are included. Nowhere on their mobile booking platform or in their legal disclosures is there any mention that employment or injury cases are excluded from free consultations. Unbelievably, the firm called me exactly 36 minutes before my scheduled appointment to inform me that I would have to pay $500 upfront because of the nature of my case. It is incredibly unprofessional to bait consumers with widespread promises of "free consultations"—even showcasing employment retaliation milestones to win business—only to wait until the final half-hour to demand a hefty, undisclosed $500 fee. My time was completely wasted. If you require upfront fees for specific practice areas, disclose that transparently on your website so consumers can make an informed choice. Following the fee dispute, the firm reached out again to officially pass on the case, claiming they "only practice in Nevada" and stating that none of their attorneys have jurisdiction for a federal case in Arizona. As a note on professional competence: this is entirely incorrect. This is a Federal Title VII / Rehabilitation Act matter against a federal agency (the VA). In the federal system, any licensed attorney in good standing can routinely file a two-page "Pro Hac Vice" motion to practice in the U.S. District Court of Arizona. Instead of being transparent and admitting that they simply lack the specialized legal infrastructure or staff bandwidth to handle a complex, multi-track federal whistleblower and employment case, they chose to use "jurisdiction limitations" as a scripted excuse to get off the phone. Using legal misinformation to mask an operational limitation is the final straw. Avoid this firm if you need transparent, knowledgeable representation.
