5 stars is not enough! Matthew Heider successfully got a completely unfounded restraining order petition against me dismissed. Through strategic questioning, he was able to get the petitioner to admit things and contradict her own statements. In fact, someone sitting in the courtroom was so impressed with his performance that they asked to hire him after the hearing. If you need a criminal defense attorney, I highly recommend him. He is worth every penny!

⚠️Fraudulent Billing Practices⚠️ Matthew Heider is a deceiving crook that only cares about his financial gain. On November 4th signed agreement & paid $2,500 for a misdemeanor case that was dismissed by the prosecutor 3 days later on November 7th. Never appeared in court for the case. Never communicated with the prosecutor’s office about the case. (He did not know the case was dismissed until I called him) The only thing he did was submit their standardized Not Guilty pleading/Discovery/Demand for jury trial which was already submitted by previous court appointed attorney all through the online court portal. Upon requesting for a refund by email this was the answer Matthew gave, “We will not issue a refund now that the case has been dismissed.” He decided to refund me $1,500. Deceiving me out of $1,000 for 3 days of “research.”(absolutely nothing) Matthew Heider breached his fiduciary duty. ⚠️Unethical Overbilling Scammer⚠️

Mr. Harris is a respectable hard working man. I’m beyond thankful I had him standing beside me in my legal case. I had an officer who lied about what happened. Throughout the whole process I was able to have all my motions approved, bond reduction and the removal of my ankle monitor. He has a great relationship with the judges, as well as the state attorneys. I even messed up and went back to jail. While I was in there he mentioned to me that he was going to get me out. I was on a hold no bond, one day I went to court I got my felony case resolved which allowed me to go home to my family. Thank you lord and thank you Mr Harris. I was able to get time served for Aggravated battery on an officer. The law is a system and you need the right people bedside you and Mr. Harris Is definitely that guy.

How do I begin? Mr. Robert Harris has truly been the best attorney we have ever worked with. He became our last hope after we had to fire our first lawyer, who simply wasn’t fighting for my son. We were feeling completely hopeless, and although we never got our money back from that first attorney, hiring Mr. Harris was worth every single dollar. Starting over with him was the best decision we could have made. My son’s case was complicated because of his prior criminal history. Even though this was a third-degree felony for simple drug possession, the prosecutor was pushing an unreasonable sentence based on a point system from an incident 14 years ago. So I met Robert through a friend who also got his charge dropped because of Mr. Harris. It has been one year of fighting the state and coming up with unorthodox solutions for a case by exhausting every remedy available to me by the Constitution and filing every motion you could possibly file. The state would not budge. I was facing four mandatory years, and I could not get below that due to my violent past and a nine-year prison sentence that was about 14 years ago. There was no solution, but I promise I've dealt with countless lawyers, and a lot of them will tell you something isn't possible because they're lazy. I myself worked in the law library in D.O.C., so I know this man was working even when at times I had a bad attitude because I was upset about my circumstances and thought maybe he was working for the state too. "Me and my prison mentality, I've seen everything in my days." Robert went above and beyond to the point where he was disliked for a moment for trying so hard. In the end, everything got turned down, and we had no choice but to plea out to the judge, but only after building a beautiful defense and closing statement outlining my accomplishments since my release and what I plan to do with my future, as well as doctors' reports from all my counseling throughout my life and a doctor who testified after examining me. The judge felt for me, which I really appreciate, and today I'm free because of him. Understand this: if I got to the point where I had to just be straightforward and admit I messed up and verbally convince the judge to help me as a last line of defense, it means we tried everything in the world possible before that, and it actually worked. If you're contacting a lawyer, in most cases, it's probably because you messed up. Always fight for your rights, but if you're dead wrong and there's no proving otherwise, and you know that what you were indulging in was a bad character trait, I feel like if you actually feel bad for it and you strive to be a better version of yourself daily, which everyone should want, then anyone judging you with proper discernment of right and wrong should judge you fairly. That was my case, but I'm not easy to deal with, and Robert dealt with a lot, and I appreciate him and his team for their intellect and professionalism. THANK YOU, GIL
