I contacted Sandoval Legacy Group for help setting up Power of Attorney and a trust for my disabled father. The person who returned my call didn’t introduce themselves and seemed disinterested from the start. The conversation was rushed and unwelcoming — I wasn’t given the opportunity to ask questions or even explain the situation before being told they’d need to speak directly with my father. While I understand the legal need to speak with the principal, I expected at least some level of explanation or guidance first to understand if this was the right path for us. Instead, I left the call feeling dismissed and more stressed than when I started. If you’re looking for an elder law firm that takes time to listen and provide real support, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I have used this firm twice, once to create a family trust and later to revise it. Both time the service was excellent. Unlike some places that offer cookie-cutter trust services, these lawyers are very detailed and experienced and tailor your trust to your speciific needs. They are able to help you with many different considerations, especially in selecting a trustee. They are highly professional . I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Dennis has set up two of our families Trusts and is in the process of a third for us. He is there from beginning to end. He assures that the person requesting the trust is not being coerced; that the trust is set up exactly the way the person needs it to be; and when the time comes to disburse the trust he and his staff are there to make sure the Trustee has all the tools needed and any concerns taken care of. I've never seen an attorney so thorough and helpful as well as reasonable in his costs. UPDATE: Since my initial review 7 years ago they have set up a friends trust and they were extremely satisfied. But I have to say that I decided to get my trust done through a legal benefit I have through work and boy did I get a true taste of how very wrong it can go. Had I not had extensive knowledge of what a trust should contain, it would be worthless when my trustee tried to disperse it. It was a fiasco and gave me a newfound appreciation for how well organized and professional the Sandoval Legacy group is.
