I can honestly say JP saved me from doing time. I was dealing with two probation violations, new charge, and had to face three different judges. The odds were completely against me. But he still managed to keep me out of jail. JP really fought for me, knew exactly what to do, and kept it real with me the whole time. I'm sad to change this review as I thought this was a great law firm at the time but in retrospect I really wish I'd gone with someone else. Looking back, there wasn't really an explanation on any discovery or why things went the way they did with the cases I had. He even told me he'd help me get an out of state criminal history report when it was time to submit it to the court a year later for a plea in abeyance. When I asked about it he just replied "I’m not sure. You’d have to check with Texas." I was also curious on reopening cases to try and get them lowered/reevaluated since I got a 70% PTSD rating from the VA (for an event that happened 2 years before any cases and would be relevant to those cases) but apparently that's a $400 phone call for them. These people know I am a veteran with PTSD struggling to find work and yet they only pretend to care when there's money involved. I guess the 15k I paid wasn't enough to warrant a call about those cases I already paid for. It's very insulting. Edit after owners response: I’m not sure why I have to go out of my way to call and try to make things right. You have my email.
