Very unprofessional and deceptive law firm. Do not hire ANY attorney from this office. Mel mis-deeded a property to someone who's name wasn't the only party in the Will. Why on earth did he do that? Did Mel think that wasn't public record or that he was dealing with a bunch of uneducated people? You would think that at his age he'd know better than that. The victims of this horrible situation have taken the necessary steps to have him and his team investigated. When you get older in life you should be getting better not worse. His actions are deplorable and I highly recommend going with another legal team for your probate needs. He deserves to be disbarred.

I love this guy for helping years ago for chid custody grandparents and father was trying to take my daughter away and help me get custody of her thank god I chose him

EXTREMELY rude ! I just ended the call abruptly. Did Not feel safe to discuss what I needed done .His name was Mel Shelander . Gosh , so disappointing .

Mrs. Shelander represented my daughter (minor) in a custody dispute. She was very sweet and reassuring to my child. She is always in contact with you unlikely other attorneys where you are always talking to the secretary and leaving messages. She is very kind and I definitely recommend her for your family law needs.

Mel and his staff were absolutely amazing. We highly recommend him. He not only was available to us over the Thanksgiving holiday, but he was typically available to speak to us just about anytime we needed him or had questions. He guided and explained everything as things progressed... and ultimately kept me and my daughter together. Thank you guys for all the hard work and dedication that was put in to our case. We appreciate yall more than you know!

Mel Shelander wasn’t helpful at all . Returned my phone call with a unpleasant atittude & didn’t even sound interested in attempting to understand the full depth of the case. His response was for me to go look elsewhere & get somebody else opinion before asking any further questions about the case . I’d never pay this kind of attorney a dime .

The office staff was friendly, the lawyer I met and dealt with was great. Gave me sound advice and how to deal with my issue. The only problem was the entry to the parking lot. Make sure you are crawling in otherwise it'll take out the underside of your vehicle.

Mr. Shelander gives all for a good fight! I do recommend him.
