Closing on a property can be both stressful and exhausting. Especially when dealing with unforeseen issues beyond our control. We were dealt with a situation between us and our buyers. I own a custom home on Davis Islands and I hired Kathryn based on recommendations from a friend. During the course of ownership, my family and I saw water coming into my bedroom, my daughter’s bedroom and basically every entry point of the house where there is a roof (four places in my home). As a fighter pilot, I was willing and able to handle the issues with the GCC. I quickly realized that he was not going to be helpful with resolving the major defects. At this point I was ready to go to war against the contractor I hired to build this beautiful custom home which I worked so hard for. I hired Kathryn for construction litigation and at some point in the case, we were in arbitration, circuit court and appellate court at the exact same time. She is very smart and impeccably organized. She truly outwitted and and out classed the opposing council. They new they didn't have a case so they kept throwing curve balls at her and she caught them all and fired back appropriately. There was always something happening. I went to a hearing with Kathryn and it was obvious we were going to go the distance if it came down to it. It was a drag out fight and we came out ahead. It was a tough battle and we aggressively pursued until the end when I got reimbursed for my losses. I appreciate all of the hard work and the preparation it took to get us to a win. My company purchases and sells homes all over the State of Florida and sometimes we run into contract issues that we need quick resolutions for. "Brilliant!" is the first word that comes to mind when I think of one word to describe Attorney Kathryn Sole. We ran major issues on a newly purchased property that required the services of an attorney to resolve. Not only an attorney who was extremely knowledgable in real estate and construction law but one that could litigate our case if it came down to it. I sought the advise of a close friend in the real estate business and she strongly recommended that I get in contact with the attorney Kathryn Sole. She was, in my friend's words, "a little spit-fire" who knows real estate and construction law inside out. Her own company learned first hand when they not only went up against her but hired her later based on that experience. She has dealt with and gone up against some major companies and walked away winning on behalf of her clients. In our very first meeting with her it was quite evident that she was extremely knowable in construction and real estate law, but what struck me most was how approachable, down to earth and personable she was. A final note, DO NOT let her youthful appearance make you think for a moment that the big corporation lawyers will swallow her up and spit her out because she WILL run rings around them!
