If I could give zero stars that would be generous. Absolutely worthless and useless office. Yet they send subpoena to victims citing "contempt of court" charges if you are a no show. Yet same subpoena are sent to law enforcement and defendants and they can skip without repercussions. My letter to the Governor should help pucker things up a bit tighter. Good ol' boys just being good ol' boys doing good ol' boys back room deals. Your office is pathetic.

Professional and helpful. I was the victim of a road rage and was very confused and concerned about this and the States Attorney explained what was going on and what I needed to do. I appreciate the help

I express to the state attorney investigator that one of the officers on the scene was kicking bullets down the drain I was told I would get a call back I also expressed to the state attorney investigator tha I wanted to come to court I AM THE VICTIM…STILL nothing. Why y’all don’t want me in that courtroom???? I AM THE VICTIM.

This is a poor example of a state Attorneys office...posting pictures of convictions..disgusting....not returning phone calls or answering questions..unprofessional...they excel in creating victims

How can you hold somebody in custody when he is innocent. My son has been sitting in jail for over a month. It's all about money! This county is doing alot of fraud/illegal... my lawyer calls and sends emails, no response. How can they get away with this. I'm so devastated!! My son has a clean record, and volusia wants to mess him up..... HELP

Why is it like pulling teeth to get cooperation out of this office!? Criminals obviously write their own narative & victims are just supposed to sit by & be victims again! It's been 8 months since the incident, with many phone calls, messages & emails & I'm getting nowhere! $2000.00 in damages reduced to a misdemeanor. Someone make sense of this for me please! 🤦🏼I guess since I can't get a response, I'll make as much noise as possible! Florida Bar, Attorney Generals Office again, news media, whatever it takes!

This is by far the most corrupt district attorneys office I've ever come across! They're literally handing out 6 month probation sentences to a mother who tied her kids down to a chair! The attorneys helping the criminal out is Boone forkner and Sarah thomas. They think a year of probation is satisfactory for a habitual child abuser. By the way, I went and argued against it in court, and I talked to the judge for a significant amount of time. She told Mr. Forkner to talk to me personally. He knew my thoughts and how I think it's absolutely insane to give a woman who keeps abusing her kids over and over again 1 year of probation. I had to go to work after we talked, so, I at least said give me your word that she's getting 1 year probation before I leave? I just found out that the abuser only got 6 months of probation. She got 6 months the first time she abused her kids! This is now her second child abuse offense. The original charge of this was a first degree felony and they immediately reduced the charges. These people are as complicit as the predators preying on kids! I would say worse because they're allowing the monsters more time to commit acts against the most vulnerable in our society. Don't worry guys, they also gave her parenting classes! Lol She doesn't even have kids anymore cause DCF did their job by terminating her rights! Ms. Sarah Thomas thinks, "I won't be happy no matter what and how dare I question her!" She's a lawyer. How could a peasant like myself question her. You start understanding why our society is degrading even more when the lawyers aren't even getting married and don't have any kids. These are the most selfish people on this planet, and we trust they're going to seek proper justice? It's not hard to imagine when they allow people to burn down our cities across the country and file no charges... The governor and attorney general have been notified.

Crime lovers, not protectors.

RJ Larizza chooses not to prosecute domestic violence that results in hospitalization if it’s a he said / she said situation. Arrest rates have plummeted since he took office, perhaps because he just doesn’t seek justice in many circumstances. If you support domestic violence vote for RJ!

I was told by D.A if someone takes something of yours and threatens you with harm if you want it back. And you leave and call police and come back and show pictures of him taking it. Its not considered stealing if he says he left on the side of the road. So I guess in Volusia county stealing and threatening people is ok as long as you say you didn't steal it.even if you have pictures of the attack. How can the people give support if you don't support the people.

They need to do something about the parking situation because of all the employees & police and sheriff's officers who have to appear in court leaves not enough for OTHERS citizens who ba have business appointment with serious business and have appointments scheduled ! !
