I had a really positive experience speaking with Joseph at Stonebrook Law Firm, even though his firm ultimately was not able to take my case because the economics/practical fit did not work out. I have spoken to dozens of lawyers during this process, and a lot of the time you are made to feel rushed, dismissed, or like you are bothering someone just by asking questions. My experience with Joseph was completely different. He spoke to me like a human being, listened carefully, and treated my situation with real respect and patience. What stood out to me most was that Joseph did not just brush me off when he realized the case might not be the right fit for his firm. He still took the time to give me thoughtful, practical advice about how to move forward and how to think about finding the right lawyer. That meant a lot. Usually, it is hard to even get an attorney or the head of a firm to give you the time of day, and you end up speaking mostly with intake staff. Joseph was generous with his time, direct, kind, and genuinely helpful. He is exactly the kind of lawyer I would have hoped to have on my side, so it is unfortunate it could not work out. Based on my interaction, if you are lucky enough to have Joseph take your case, I think it would be very hard to find someone with better client care, communication, and bedside manner.
