Please do not give this woman your money. She represented my ex-husband and helped him take complete advantage of me. I was a stay at home mom of ten years. Connie took complete advantage. While my ex paid her 60K to leave me without alimony and a pitiful child support agreement, I felt "wrongly" that I wasn't entitled to pay for defense myself. Don't make this mistake, for yourself or your spouse. An equitable divorce is key to happiness for the whole family. Working with Connie breeds resentment and feelings of hurt that will plague your relationship with you family for years. Money isn't everything, but this woman will leave people in despair when they are going through the worst time of their lives.

I highly recommend Attorney Connie Thacker and her office. She handled my case with confidence, skill and professionalism even against a tiger of a personality. She also showed genuine kindness to me when I felt overwhelmed. Her staff was professional, helpful and a pleasure to work with as well.I am grateful!

I would never recommend this attorney. In my experience, communication was inconsistent, and I was disappointed with how my concerns were addressed. During mediation, I experienced limited support and advocacy on my behalf. When I raised questions and concerns about aspects of my case, I did not feel they were acknowledged or clearly explained. This experience added significant stress during an already very difficult time in life.

Don't waste your money. He was worthless.

Allison's practice of insulting the physical appearance of other female attorneys instead of arguing her case demonstrates that not only is she actively contributing to the culture of sexism in the legal community, but that her skills in legal argument have not matured to a level appropriate for a legal professional. Do better.

I had a traumatizing experience with this firm. My experience included Connie almost immediately reassigning my case to Corey, a brand new associate with very little experience. Connie demonstrated verbally abusive tactics-- at one point, when I asked why I was experiencing extreme unresponsiveness, she stated, "There's only as much justice as you can afford," and subsequently accused me of having a balance. In fact, I was paid up at that time. When I pointed that out, she gaslit me and tried to backtrack her comments, making up blatant falsehoods. Her associate, Corey misrepresented the facts of my case in court and failed to respond to any communications for over a month-- leading right up to a hearing date. Corey did not respond to multiple requests for a phonecall or preparation leading up to our divorce mediation. This neglect resulted in harmful outcomes to our mediated JOD agreement-- which I may never be able to undo. After spending over 10k and receiving more harm than help, I had to retain another lawyer to finish the case. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the bar. I have since spoken with several other past clients with very similar experiences. Do not let their fancy offices or marketing fool you. They embody the worst of family lawyer cliches. If you've had a similar experience, comment here. I am wondering if together we can legally organize to bring accountability and spare others from having to experience such harmful negligence. UPDATE TO ADD: Since posting this a week ago, multiple people have contacted me with a similar experience. Sad but not surprised that this is a pattern.
