The Huerta Law Firm

My experience with Huerta Law Firm was shocking and deeply upsetting. I sought legal help expecting professionalism, respect, and guidance. Instead, I was met with insulting language, verbal aggression, and behavior that felt intimidating and threatening. At no point should a client be made to feel belittled or afraid when seeking legal representation. The tone and treatment I received were hostile and completely inappropriate for a professional setting. Rather than offering support or solutions, the interaction left me feeling disrespected and unsafe. Legal matters are already stressful, and no one should be subjected to what I experienced. I strongly do not recommend this firm to anyone who values professionalism, basic human decency, and respectful communication. I regret trusting this firm and encourage others to be extremely cautious before engaging their services.

Almost two years ago they treated me wonderfully when they took my case. I quit my job and the consultations never went through, they were never authorized when the insurance was commercial. They stopped answering my calls, then the Pelícano office closed and I never went back. I know nothing. A month ago, they called me to say they needed to close the case and wanted me to come sign. I didn't answer, but they insisted until one day Pilar called me, very politely, and said, "If your check arrives, you can come sign it." So I went. The guys there looked like gangsters. Anyway, after that, she told me my check would be ready in a week. Two weeks later, I called, and the woman was very rude. She said, "If you want your check right now, I'll give you $2,000 and that's it, or you wait, and I'll look into the charges to find you more. My fees are $3,100." She gave me a list of expenses that were completely unrelated. I never received any medical services from them. Jonathan Huerta called me and said, "I've already fired everyone, including Pilar, and I'm going to give you a proposal." I'm still waiting, and they don't answer anymore. I signed the check, and they kept everything. I contacted another law firm to help me because when I signed, they didn't even ask for my ID to confirm it was me and the aforementioned Pilar. She asked me, "Is that really your signature?" It seemed so simple to her, which made me doubt whether they signed it for me to close the case. But anyway, this happened because I trusted a friend whose husband works with them handling cases. But now I see I'm not the only one they stole from!

It’s 2024 and I’m surprised to find that I have a warrant from a ticket from car accident back in 2017 that I had hired this law firm to take care of all the details because I could barely even walk. I did the intake with Mr. Huerta himself and was told all the details would be taken care of to include the ticket I received for my registration from that accident. I contacted the office again because this warrant has to be some sort of mistake, but the secretaries attempt to charge me for the services of going to court to fight this again. I can’t talk to any of the people that had worked on my case because they no longer work there and everyone there keeps telling me that they can’t verify that the service was to be included. I asked to speak to Mr. Huerta about it because he was who did my intake and I have yet to receive a call back or get any assistance when I call there. I’m sure they made a solid chunk off of me during the accident and don’t see why I need to pay for something I already paid for in 2017… It hurts to be stuck unable to renew my license because of this ticket when my job is delivering Amazon packages. These people don’t care about you. They just want your money.

Terrible service huerta was always “busy “ he wasted my time im guessing my case was to good for him . His secretary’s were rude and one of them got me a order arrest by accident on December 2019.
